Question Cynomel usage....

Hey everyone, this is one of my first times posting and I was wondering the proper usage of cynomel for a 22 yr. old female, who's not currently taking anything at all. My friend gave me these and he told me that they would shred excess water and fat off of me. But I am curious as to other opinions and if this could potentially have negitve results instead of what I want.
Thanks.......

Your friend is not a true friend if he's going to hand you a bottle of T3 and tell you to take it to shed body fat.

T3 is a thyroid medication which can MESS UP your thyroid if used repeatedly or even for some people with more sensitive thyroids - only once.

T3 does not distinguish between muscle and fat - so you will burn what muscle you have if you are not on an anabolic substance.

T3 is not a magic pill and will not shed excess water and fat if you do not have a diet and training program which is already in order.

Please post your stats (weight, height, age, bf%, how long you've been training), your diet, and your training routine. We can help you - but only from there.

You do not need the Cynomel. PERIOD.

Welcome to the board. We're glad you're asking questions before you're putting stuff into your body.

I'm 5'6, 144lbs, I don't know my bf%. I work out about 3-4 days a week. 40-60 min. of cardio, trying to do more weights. I used to take Xenadrine and after two years it stopped working for me, so I switched to Hydroxycut but I didn't really see results from that, and basically discovered that those types of fat burners weren't working for me anymore and were just making me mental. So when he told me about Cytomel it sounded good, but I figured anything that messes with your thyroid isn't worth it. But i'm the type to try anything once, so i'm glad i found this board before i started to take it. Thank you guys very much, I appreaciate it.
And anything else you want to add...........

What are your goals and what is your diet like.

List for us a sample of a daily diet - what you eat in a day - don't leave one thing out. What times you eat and how much you eat.

List for us what you do when you train. "Trying to do more weights" tells me you don't strength train. Time to get started with a weight lifting routine. Building muscle help you shed the excess fat. Cardio helps - but isn't the key to bf loss.

Go to your gym and have your bf% assessed. Calipers - not the hand holdy thingy or the tanita scale.

Diet is 90% of the weight loss effort. Not diet as in "Fad Diets" but "Diet" as in what you eat day to day to sustain yourself. Understanding the basics of nutrition will help you greatly in your journey.

You should not take anything for two years. That is the sole reason the Xenadrine and such stopped working. You took it so long, your body became immune to it, and it stopped working.

Cytomel is only to be used in extreme cases for weight loss. IT DOES CAUSE MUSCLE LOSS. In fact, it will burn the muscle more times than not than burn fat; especially if you aren't eating enough calories to sustain that muscle.

Good choice to stay away from it. We'd be happy to make changes to your current diet in order to reach your goals.

ONe other reason that the fat burners might not be working anymore (but she is right, you should take breaks at regular intervals from everything you take if it is a drug)
they have taken the ephedrine out of all of them. . .= not much fat loss and the increased caffeine content tends to make people "mental" as you said. . .
