loose skin

I have read a bit of information on the internet about this condition where individuals lose alot of body weight and the end result is a lighter person but an excess of loose skin. I was wondering if anyone here has had this problem and how did they fix it.

I hear surgery is the common treatment but i would like to hear about people who have combated it with a different method and would like to know their success if any.

Reason i ask is i'm a personal trainer from Australia and have had clients previously with this condition but could do little to aid them as their doctors had told them the only way is surgery and nothing else will work.

I'm yet to see or find any proof of people going from loose skin to firm body without the use of surgery.

bonebreaker is on a distinguished road
The skin only has so much elasticity. Folds and folds of loose skin can make SOME recovery, but copious amounts can only be reduced by surgery. Also, the older a person is, the harder it is for the skin to tighten up at any level. BB
