i have just started a course of oxandrolone?
Hi can someone just make sure i am on the right cycle, I work out with a trainer who is experienced but just want some confirmation.
I am 5'4 and weigh 134 pounds, I have been training for 3 years and i have been training with the personal trainer for 3 months. I have started a cycle of Oxandrolone Spa and i am taking just 3.75 g per day at the moment, i only started it 3 days ago, my trainer suggests to increase it to 3x 2.5g tablets per day so 7.5 g per day. My diet consists of the following. 9am 30g protein shake 11am 160g tuna with salad nuts and a little feta cheese 1.30pm protein shake 30g work out 5pm either 200 g fish or chicken with veggie 8pm protein shake or more chicken My goals are to lose the body fat and increase definition overall. i don't know my BF% but i guess it is around 23%. Am i on the right course, can anyone advise me?? Thanks and i have to say this is a great forum! Hayley

Hi,
i just want to lose body fat, i don't want to increase muscle now. At the moment we are training using reasonable weight and more repetitions. Before i started taking the oxandrolone we were training with more weight and less repetitions. I also do a 35 minute cardio workout before the weight training.

I would suggest reading Sana's post on 'Women and AAS: what it CAN and CAN'T DO'

Its benefit really lies in its ability to increase phosphocreatine synthesis and the amount of readily available ATP - i.e. promote strength without bodyweight increase, which could arguably propell you through low calorie workouts and aid fat loss which is precicely her goal. I'm not female but theres my 2 pence |

Anavar, or Oxandrolone, will not help you lose BF. The goal if it IS to put on mass with little side effects in women. So it's only purpose for you right now is to help maintain your muscle because your workouts are high intensity. It will harden you up temporarily, but that is only superficial BF loss. When people say they want to get more definition, it really only means they want to lose BF....which again defeats the purpose of why your trainer told you to take it. Honestly, if you are 23% BF, you really don't need to be doing any AAS. What I am confused about, is why your trainer would tell you to take it. The reason you pay him is for overall body improvement and education. I'm sure he has helped your mass, but he also has a responsibilty to help you reach your goals, and NOT give you some Magic Pill. If all you want to do is lose BF, and don't really care about adding mass, then IMHO there really is no point to have you take it. Your trainer should be able to help you lose BF with a good diet. Secondly, what many don't realize is that when women take AAS and their BF isn't where it needs to be, you run the risk of just putting on more fat. Did he discuss with you the possible side effects of this? Did he fully educate you on what the drug does??? Tell your trainer he needs to put you on a good diet in order to lose BF....

How many cardio sessions a week? Do you feel you're able to reach your full potential by doing your cardio first? Have you ever thought of changing the type of cardio you do, or the time of day you do it?

Thanks for the advice. The trainer says that before competitions he has always recommended a course of Oxandrolone for women to lose the body fat?
I train everyday with weights and do cardio everyday for 35mins, usually 20 min run and 15 min cross trainer. mon-fr then on sunday i might go running for 50 mins on the street. During training i usually train lower body everyday, different muscle groups but mainly alot of squats. we also train abs everyday too. Do you think I am training too much? I did a body for life program once and saw really good results with it alternating the muscle groups? I really appreciate the advice....thanks Hulla
