I don't know the best to answer you. But I will tell you if you read through the womens anabolic section there are so many posts about women and winstrol. That will probably answer your question, but if not I'm sure someone will be by to tell that it's a bad idea. I know that much about it from reading and what your wife is wanting to use it for.

Redsquirrel is the best to answer this - but from what I know, she should do a lot more research before she starts. Is this her first cycle? She could end up with sides alot worse than some acne. Do a search on Winstrol side effects - there is tons of info here.

please read this thread first:

Women and AAS: what it CAN and CAN'T DO

winstrol isn't for "weight loss". how long has she trained. what's her diet like? what's her training split look like? without this info we won't be able to help.

but please remember, winstrol is AAS - ANDROGENIC anabolic steroid. androgenic is the key point to understand before doing anything.

Exactly right, Bounce.

If she is wanting to lose weight, Winstrol -or any AAS- for that matter is not for her. AAS is not going to help you lose weight. It's sole purpose is for muscle building and GAINING. And Winstrol is probably the worst choice for possible fat loss. I still have yet to understand why so many women want to start out with such a harsh drug. It really reinforces the fact that they should do a lot more research because there are lot more choices that have much less harsher sides than Winstrol.

FC is absolutely right- she is going to have acne, raspy voice, enlarged clitoris. She may be able to combat the acne, but none of the other sides.

Why not lose weight the old fashioned way?
