So suffice to say, I could probably pick up that PB at a health food store? What about freshly made peanut butter? Where they make it infront of you. Ive seen a few places where they pour in the nuts and out it comes into a container and away you go.

Sure, you could go to a health food store. I buy Smucker's All Natural. I don't know if you have that in Australia.

I love the shake & rice cake, because you get a soft crunch from the cake, and the sweet from the chocolate...the PB sort of evens it all out.

Also Kaz- in addition to what FB says about the ingredients....

Since it is all natural, it has to be refridgerated. When it gets to the store shelves, the oil from the nute -good fats- have settled on the top of the actual peanut butter. Just make sure you give it a good stir before using.

I just didn't want the sight of the separated butter to freak you out.

hahaha. And it would have. I would have thrown it out had it looked less than normal. And i would have most certainly have put it in the cupboard, which is where i have always put the normal PB.

I also wondered if one type of fish is better than others? In regards to nutrition and diet benefits. Its easy to go buy a bulk of cheap fish, but if its crap and holds no benefits, then theres no point is there. So do any of you have a fish type that you prefer without me having to google every type of fish on earth and their nutritional values.

I usually only buy salmon (high in omegas), and white fish like tilapia, grouper, bass, or orange roughy. I eat tuna out of the can far more than any fresh fish, lol...
Just watch with shellfish, they're really high in fat.

I absolutely LOVE Rainbow trout....When myhusband dieted for his first show, I got sooo tired of Orange Roughy, so bad I can't hardly eat it anymore. Rainbow Trout doesn't have that fishy taste, it's somewhat flaky, but somewhat firm. It is a tad more expensive than the other fishes like Tilapia (can't stand that either- I call it "dirt fish", cause I think it tastes like potting soil! LOL) Can't really go wrong with shrimp, either.

Salmon is always a good choice, but I wouldn't recommend eating it more than once a week. Although it is high in good fats, it is also high in cals.

Got me some of that Natural PB. :loveheart Im having to keep it in the downstairs fridge in the garage because otherwise i'll be in & out of the fridge every 5 minutes with a spoon. This might sound grose, but tonight I'm gonna take a tablespoon of it & heat it up in a saucepan and toss my chicken & green vegies through it. Thinking I might have to add a few teaspoons of water so it dosnt dry out.

You could add a TBSP or two of peanut oil and go for a thai-style dish!

Best natural and Organic Peanut Butter in the world can be found here.

www.maranathanutbutters.com

They make Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, and others.

This butter is far far better then smuckers or any other commercial brand.

They also carry this brand at select Sams Clubs.

I think I'm regressing....For whatever reason I seem to be putting on fat and losing muscle.

I need to eat more.

Speaking of eating. I would like to say thank you to everyone who gives insight to us less knowledgable individuals. It's definately changed the way I do things & drummed into my head the ut most importance of what goes into my mouth. Ive never been able to reach any goals as I focused on just the exercise part. Now that ive learnt how to eat properly, I am finally noticing changes happening in the direction I want to go. Losing BF mainly. YAY! And I still learn something new everytime I get on here for a read.

I'll post a pic for a little bit cause I want RS seal of approval that it appears like the diet change has helped. Ive only just started to lift heavy, so I havnt made any muscle gains yet, but the change in diet alone is very very very slowly helping the BF%. Especially around the hips. I also stopped running 2 weeks ago, so hopefully that will see my legs start to grow sometime soon. Still a long way to go though. I'm glad I am a patient person. So thank you to those of you who spend your free time answering complete strangers questions.

By taking those pictures, I noticed I seriously need to be dedicated to a calf routine. So i'm going to start to focus on that aswell. I noticed it a few days ago, and the last few days Ive been in the gym, ive checked out every persons calves. 9/10 didnt have any.

YAAAYYY!!!

The change is REALLY noticeable!!! Your midsection looks like it's tightened up A TON, and the legs look leaner as well.

I'm so glad to see the changes, and that you posted the pic to show everyone! It's really quite simple. All it takes is a little discipline to follow any given diet, and changes will come.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks RS It really has been purely the diet that has done what its done so far. I cant wait to see what will happen now im lifting heavier. I figured by posting pics for people to see, it will keep me on the straight and narrow. And also show that any advice I ask for, is not a waste of anyones time replying.

Cool, my first love heart eyes *LOL*. Thanks FH. I posted a good shot of the legs & abs because they are the area I want changed the most. So if in the future I post the next pic and there dosnt appear to be any change, i'll fill you in on what ive been doing & you can all hollar back at what I might need to do differently.
I am a bit unsure about how many times a week I should be doing legs. My old gym had me doing them twice a week (plus i ran alot). But since taking things into my own hands, I've opted for once a week with the weights, & cardio is just walking fast on a steeply inclined treadmill for 30 minutes x 4 times a week. I just dont think id be able to put 100% into a second leg day now. Any thoughts?

xxxkazxxx you look great! you're really thin to begin with, so I think it will be easier for you to see the results faster than if you had a lot of weight to loose. I'm envious of your thin lean legs...

Thank you DG Not always like that though. Lots of years of running. When I stop running the weight goes straight to the backs of my thighs. I get women who say silly comments like what would i know about having weight problems etc etc, and say i'm lucky to not have to lose any weight. But they don't realise in the middle of winter while they are tucked up on the lounge infront of the heater with a hot chocolate, I am outside freezing my arse off running up some hill drinking near frozen water. I love to run though, so I am very lucky I found something I love, that worked for me. But, thats all stopped now. I want legs like these ones. http://www.monicabrant.com/gallery/published.php

So no more running, just a few years of hurtful leg days in the gym

Thank you FB I used to never work abs because I always thought well whats the point if they are covered with a layer of fat and you'll never see them. Bad attitude, no wonder I never reached any goals. The change of diet has slowly helped to diminish the fat above the belly button, but it's crazy days trying to get rid of that roll of fat that lies under the belly button. I think it's gonna be the last to go.
