4 meals
So, don't kill me...But, I swear my body is losing weight with just 4 meals. Here's what I'm eating:
M1- 1/2 c oatmeal 1 whole egg, 3 whites M2- 6oz turkey 1/2 c brown rice 1 c broccoli M3- 5 oz fish or chicken 1/2c rice or 2 cups veggies M4- Shake w/ a few strawberries I'm going to the gym about 3 days a week, and cardio 4-5 times a week. I wake up hungry, and I'm hungry for my last meal, but during the day, not so much. I finally had a period last week, so I'm hoping my body will start to lose even more weight. I know I need to practice what I preach, but I'm not kidding- this seems to be working, and I was just wondering if it will continue to work, or if I will need to add that 5th meal back in at some point. |

Sounds like you are listening to your body and not afraid to experiment with that works for you.
people need to learn that just because its a new "rule" to eat 6 meals a day, doesn't mean those rules are always correct and work for everyone. hell, i look better eating things like turkey burgers and salmon burgers on potato rolls, the sweetened oatmeal packets, and things like pasta and beef, then i do when i am eating rice and boring shit. lol |

Yep- I know it goes against the "grain", but I don't need to put on anymore muscle, so why eat like that? I know it's supposed to keep your metabolism going, but who knows. My dad made a comment to me awhile ago- that just because it's protein that you're eating- it's still a calorie. And, although protein has fewer calories per gram, a calorie is still a calorie- you have to burn it if you don't want to store it.
