t-3

Just a word about cytomel, t-3, I am on it for my thyroid, and because the liver doesn't work well. I started on 30mcg, in a couple of years I was up to 150mcg along with armour thyroid,
which brings that number up, mind you this is for medical purposes. at one point in time I actually got up to 50 lb dumbell chest presses, by the time I hit the high dose of t-3 and stayed there for 6 months I lost a lot of strength, it was going backwards, I was struggling with 25 lb dumbells for the same exercise, I am now back to 50 mcg and my strenth is coming back, slow but sure, it doesn't know the difference between fat and muscle, it will lean you out but taking to much for to long, you will pay the price. trust me, been there... and at my age I can't afford to lose any muscle mass. 1 step forward 2 steps back. I even asked a couple of forums what I could do to keep from losing muscle, the response was pray. they were right.

Thanks for the great input.

Although, I'm sure you've done it, you could eat more protein to try and circumvent muscle loss....or take a mild AAS like Anavar. I don't know your history or much about you..just an idea.
