Lots of shit is discovered by complete mistake. Fermentation itself involved in so many drinks and food today was simply discovered by ancient people's forgetting about a food or liquid and coming back days later to find something unexpected. Same goes for drugs, especially hormones that in some cases we still don't know the exact mechanism of action. Hell drol has been out since 1960 and they still don't know how the fuck it interacts with the estrogen receptor.

The Jamaican drug program may very well be a case of blind luck. It would not be the first time. They don't have to be "more advanced" nessisarily to have stumbled onto an amazing PED that's the US doesn't have.

It's possible. I'll give you that.

there are for sure major drugs involved too. I absolutely agree with that.

Well when you can show me that than the point will be moot. But that was only half my argument. the other half was the culture of sprinting. jamaica has a ton of black people, but sucks at basketball. why? because that isnt a sport for the culture like it is for us. they dont have the programs in place like the US does for that to happen or the incentive. But they do have a huge national track program. my point is there are other reasons just besides the genetics as well.

You isolate usain bolt for a year to guarantee he has no contact with Jamaican team and you'll see a guy that is way down on performance. He'd still be great but not record shattering with ease great.

I understand what you are saying. I really do get it. I know the numbers, but its not 320 million considering there has only been 1 white person to break the 10 second barrier in the 100 meter. so there are roughly 39 million black americans. it just so happens that the gene in question only comes from those of east african descent. which is where all the jamicans are from. this lowers that number even more. Because jamaica is so small that gene pool has remained relatively stagnant compared to the U.S.'s.

Yes I agree they are working on a secret drug program. I just dont think theres would hold a candle to some other countries.

Bro do you understand population difference? They have less than 3 million people in their entire country. We have 320 million. Our track and field program is massive. Most Jamaican kids grow up playing soccer. Track and field is NOT the main sport of Jamaica. Considering the doping history of the Olympics and situations like Balco I cannot believe you struggle with the idea of a secret drug program.

Just no. There are far more athletes trying out for the US Olympic track and field team. A huge pool of people that get turned down. Only the best of the bunch get selected. Jamaica has literally 1/50th the selection and yet this tiny island utterly destroys the world.

I agree if all the NFL players in the US went into track instead of football when they were kids then we would be setting more records and winning more. Its just not like that in the US.

and if the United states cant avoid the doping issues, an inferior technological jamaica can? I am going with my theory over jamiacas super drug
