When Lou made his comeback I believe he was 43 years old after 17 years away but never stopped training.

Levrone will be 52 and 13 years removed from the competition stage with lots of time away from the gym to pursue acting and let some injuries heal.

Ticket sales and hype. Ifbb doesn't care where he places. Without Kai there is no major threat to Phil and people want a major competitor. Since we always compare the greats of the '90's anyway and Kevin was still willing to give it his all then that's all they need to build controversy. Like you guys said he would be lucky to place top 5 at his age.

I'm still very interested to see how he looks regardless, it's incredible how he can just turn it up and grow lean. The crazy thing is, even though he's from an era before leverone, I suspect Labrada isn't much older and would also look impressive

Keven was "way better" in my memory but side by sides show that phil is pretty damn close to kevins best.

Similar in many ways, Id give heath legs, Kevin shoulders. It's hard though as we'll never quite get to see the 90's Kevin actually stood next to heath.

Heath always looks great alone but next to someone has seemed narrow.
