Looking at 5 games tonight
1) Wash/NYI. Interesting game with a Wash dominance in the trends department. However that was before Wash moved into an AHL class type team. To much on the line here for NYI at home. Dipietro looked sharp in his last game, no Luongo but who is. Take NYI ML at home.
2) NJ/Fla. Devils need this game to get back in the Win column. Can we expect a low scoring event, Devils not exactly lighting it up these days. This could boil down to a battle of the goalies. Take Brodeur to win his 400th tonight.
3) Pitt/NY. Basically a meaningless game unless you're playing for pride and respectability. Strangers lack these characteristics, Pens playing like its still fun out there. Take the Pens ML.
4) Tampa/Tor. Has the possibility of being the game of the night. Tampa in a bit of funk right now. Tor plays well at home and needs the points more than Tampa. Goaltending to be the key to this game. Take Tor ML at home.
5) Det/SJ. Well how do address a team that just let in 8 goals in their last game. Do you scream and yell and say where the f... was the defense???? Look for Detroit to come out the chute playing a much tighter defensive game. Looking at the Under 5.5 here.
