4-2 last post. For a profit of +$165

    running total of +$325

    my picks for today are:

    Kansas City Royals ML
After getting swept by the Yankees, the A's rebounded by taking 2 of 3 from Tampa Bay. I can see the Royals doing the same against the Jays. Blue Jays also having their problems this season against lefties. They are hitting only .215 against lefties, manufacturing an average of 2.9 runs. Gobble has pitched relatively well in his last 3 starts with an ERA of 3.78. Miller has an ERA of 5.40 in his last 3 starts. KC averages 4.9 runs against righties. You can sense that KC will break out for some runs. They had 8 hits in the first 4 innings of yesterday's game against Mussina but couldn't get the big hit.

    St. Louis Cardinals ML
Even though he pitched well in his last start, Maddux kinda looks like a shell of himself. He has an ERA of 4.74 in his last 3 starts. Marquis has an ERA of 2.70 in his last 3 starts. ST Louis is 15-4 (+10.8 Units) at home against the Cubs over the last 3 seasons. The Cubs have failed to produce more than 4 runs since 4/21 against the Pirates.

Tampa D'Rays/ Texas Rangers under 10.5
Both pitchers are pitching very well. Abbott has an ERA of 3.20 in his last 3 starts and Rogers has an ERA of 2.89 in his last 3 starts.

    Texas Rangers ML
One of the biggest surprises in the AL. Texas is 14-4 against righties. Tampa Bay is 0-7 after a win.

Chicago White Sox / Baltimore Orioles over 10 runs
After watching the way Schoenweis pitched in his last outing, the O's could come close the the 10 runs by themselves.

    Other MLB picks without write-ups:

    Boston Red Sox ML

    Detroit Tigers +1.5
