5-3 last nite for a profit of +$190

    running total profit of +$1307

    Todays picks are:

    Colorado Rockies +$105
Jennings has made some improvements in his past 3 starts. He has an ERA of 4.76 during that period. Eaton is going to opposite direction. He has an ERA of 10.66 in his last 3 starts. Last season he was bothered by blisters. He might be going through the same problems by the way he's been pitching lately.

San Diego Padres / Colorado Rockies over 12.5 runs -$130
Same as yesterday. Two pitchers with high ERA's in a very friendly hitters park. Yesterday was the litmus test. I expect more of that tonight.

    Montreal Expos -Even
Hernandez has an ERA of 3.00 in his last 3 starts. Has been the most consistant starter in the Expos rotation. Montreal is 3rd in the NL in ERA and will get more help with the addition of Armas Jr. soon. I see them winning at a much higher ratio than the beginning of this season. Nick Johnson also shall return soon to add pop into the lineup. Ortiz has done poorly on the road. He has an ERA of 9.83 on the road. I expect a deja-vu from yesterday's game. Hernandez will keep Spos in it just enough to pull out victory.

    Houston Astros -$140
Yesterday was proof as how inconsistant the Cubs offense can be. Especially with Sosa on the DL. Pettite has been coming along nicely since his return from the DL. Again, I expect about the same results as yesterday. Great game from Pettite and the Stros should put up more than enough run support to win.

    Philadelphia Phillies -$135
Myers, who is slowly becoming the ace of the Philly staff, has an ERA of 2.05 in his last 3 starts. Ginter has an ERA of 5.06 in his last 3 starts. Philly will not get shutdown tonight. They should cool off the Mets tonight.

    San Francisco Giants -$165
Reuter is another pitcher who has been turning it around lately. He has an ERA of 3.00 in his last 3 starts. Daigle has an ERA of 10.38 in his last 3 starts. Arizona is 4-10 against lefties. Surprise! Giants hasve won 4 in a row and 5 out of 6. Arizona has lost 5 of 6 and are going downhill rapidly.

    Anaheim Angels -$145
No surprise here. I love to fade Hentgen. Besides Colon is far more superior than he is. Add to the mix that Delgado was taken out of Monday's game and that Toronto took the opener. I look for the Angels to rebound and take the middle of this 3 game series.
