Boise St -7.5 Oregon St
I am all over Oregon State in this one.
WOW. What else can you say about the effort that OSU put out against LSU last Sat. Helluva game. I'm sure they're beat up but I haven't heard about any serious injuries. Yeah,Boise destroyed Idaho but the Vandals are at the bottom of the D1 food chain right now. Dinwiddie is gone & BSU will miss him facing the this secondary.It looks as though BSU will have a good receiving corp this year but you still have to deliver the ball. BSU is decent on both lines but I give the nod to OSU here. I see the Beavs ending up controlling both lines. Look for some coverage sacks by OSU. On offense,I saw a smarter Derek Anderson play @ LSU & if he continues to be patient he could have a big game.BSU was +10 in TO's last year,OSU -8. If this game plays even in the TO catagory,give the edge to OSU.
I guess the big ? is can the Beavs recover from a tough loss,on a short week & have a game plan prepared on top of that? These two played last year(OSU handing BSU their only loss since week 2 of "02)so the game plans won't be foreign to either side.I think after the disappointment of the LSU loss wears off a bit that Beavs will have a sense of pride in how they went down south & handled a very good team under less than ideal circumstances. And I think they'll be a little pissed off too. I'm sure they'll take some offense to being called an underdog here. Boise St.at their best(last year)couldn't beat OSU.Now they're looking to fill some holes.
