It has continued into the 2005 season. What you ask? The Tribe struggling vs LHP. Last year just 21-31 vs LH they are now 1-5 this season after blowing the lead off Washburn. The one thing that scares m ebelieve it or not is Karma cause Cleveland had that game all but won and lost in 10. Could the favor be returned.....Hopefully not. Seattle despite some good RH bats has struggled to hit LHP so after seeing two lefties to start the series the Mariners bats should be happy to see a RH. That RH has not won a road start in 24 starts. He longest start of the year was hi sfirst 5.1 Innings!! Elarton pitched vs Seattle once in his career and was hit hard vs them. Moyer this century has won 9 of 10 starts vs Cleveland and looks pretty solid in the early going. Elartons last 2 starts he has lasted 8.1 Innings allowing 19 hits and 10 runs to Chicago and KC not exactly great offensives. Moyer is 8-0 in his last 8 decisions vs Cleveland. This has about as mnay stats and trends as a play needs.

    Red Sox -152
I rode TB on the +1.5 run lines in Games 1 and 2 basically cause in Game 1 I liked the LH Kazmir against Boston cause they arent hitting LH's yet and in Game 2 I thought Schilling was ffar from being right and he proved it blowing a 4 run lead. So Drays shocking the world and winning 2 straight at home vs Boston but if you did ur homework u noticed last 2+ season Boston 21-1 at home vs TB but now just 11-10 at TB!! Now still a shit price BUT we have TB sending Nomo to the mound after he was ripped at Fenway and bombed in both of his starts vs Boston the past 2 years at Fenway. Sure he pitched well vs NYY but they have made a few unmentionables look good this year because even if they get hitters counts they dont get good swings!!! The real kicker for thi splay is Arroyo track record on the road and INdoors!!

    Under 9.5 -118 NYY/Texas
Randy Johnson has struggled with hi slocation which has lead to some HR's. BoSox hit 3 two games aho and Perez wentyard twice last timeout. Other then teh Hrs he has been pretty solid. From what I have seen from Texas they havent hit LHP that well to date you can see how they struggled vs Lilly and Chacin at home in Texas. The guy who scare sme some is Soriano as he swings a good bat but the other RH like young and Mench dont scare me much vs RJ. Teixiera despite he great start has done his damage from the LH side. Yanks bats ahve been all or nothing but besides Jeter and Sheff I dont even like there approaches at the plate. Astacio has been excellent in his first 3 starts and I will have to say there is no obvious reason why he isnt sharp tmrw! He has gone deep in all 3 starts and that elevates the mess the pen can create for much sides as both guy s look good for 7 Innings. Also will play the 1st 5 Innings Under!

    Blue Jays -140
Well Halladay has returned to his 2003 Cy Young form and has been sharp ! How bout the fact that the guy is 8-0 in his last 9 starts(Jays 9-0) vs Baltimore with a ridiculously small ERA(1.29, 0.93,1.29, 2.70 last 4 seasons vs Jays}! Now an ace is depended on to stop losing streak snad Jays have lost 4 straight at home to NY and Baltimore. Ponson opposes him and I am disappointed in his 05 performance to date cause without great run support Baltimore would not have won 2 of his 3 starts. You can see runs will be tough for the O's tmrw . Ponson was tough on Toronto for a few years but slide last season and since he look s closer to the version of early 04 I will have to believe the results will be similiar.
