Going with Philly simply cause I feel like price is getting ahead of perception. Wolf might not be in a groove at the moment but last year when thse two faced off in Milwaukee its was Santos at home catching +120....how times have changed. Thing is I still feel Brewers arent going to consistently hit LHP as shown by its .240 average so far in 2005. Those lose Branyan and it appears Overbay and Jenkins are somewhat neutralized by the LHP. Which IMO is 3 of there top 4 hitters. Wolf started off rocky last time out but finished up string and hoping that carries over. Philly just went to Chicago and nearly swept the Cubbies something Milwaukee just did. Last time out Santos was -115 vs Dempster and I owuld think Wolf is graded higher then Dempster meaning this should be a PK IMO. Lets see what Santos does against Abreu , Burrell and Howard.
Yankees -1.5 Runs -130
Really wasnt going to play this game with RJ skipping a start due to injury...a Groin injury no less. However Meche has for the most part struggled thi s year and still not seeing much from the Seattle bats. This was the key though as Seattle has 259abs vs LHP and a .201 AVG with 2Hr's(just 15 rbi) and get this 53K's! Now they face the LH of all LHers Randy Johnson. Yankee bats starting to warm out and getting key hits in big situations last few days. Not to mention Seattle had a double-dip in Boston while Ny look sto get something going at home. Gordon looked excellent throwing 96MPH and Sturtze wasnt so bad either @ 94MPH.
Red Sox -156
Bottomline is do you want to face a knuckerballer when you are in a SLUMP? Sox at home when NY just played them at much higher prices.
Over 8.5 Indians/Angels +101
Just real simple be patient might see an 8 O/U. Two lineups sporting many LH sticks facing two very average RH pitchers might go 1st 5 Innings here take away the LA bullpen from the equation.
Royals +1.5Runs -135 & KC +146
Sorry just not a Towers fan and BJ have lost 4 straight and actually have played much better on the road. Hernandez was good Opening Day and serviceable since then. Maybe an over if we see 8.5!
Over 11 Colorado -107 Its Coors and 11 is low remember the days of 15's?
