BOSTON CELTICS @ DETROIT PISTONS -11
    Boston (14-22, 4-14 away) at Detroit (29-5, 15-2 home) @ 3:30 PM.EST

With their efficient winning ways, the Detroit Pistons could be accused of playing on cruise control.

Owners of the league's best record, the Pistons can become the first team to record 30 wins this season when they battle the Boston Celtics on Monday.

Off to one of the best starts by any team in history, the Pistons have won five of their six January contests and 14 of their last 16 overall. Detroit ranks second in the league in 3-point shooting percentage (39.7) and assists (23.9) and is fifth in points allowed (90.9).

In Saturday's 114-91 win over Charlotte Bobcats, Richard Hamilton scored 19 points and Maurice Evans added 18 for the Pistons, who had seven players in double figures. Detroit shot 54 percent (42-of-78) from the floor, including 9-of-17 from the arc.

Playing the finale of a three-game road trip, the Celtics could use an emotional boost after Friday's 125-124 triple-overtime loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ricky Davis scored 33 points and Mark Blount added 27 with 12 rebounds for Boston, which committed 26 turnovers and failed to hold a 10-point fourth-quarter lead.

The Pistons defeated the Celtics twice in 12 days in November and have taken eight of the last nine overall meetings, including four straight at home.

SEATTLE SUPERSONICS +9 @ GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
    Seattle (15-22, 6-12 away) at Golden St. (17-19, 9-10 home) @ 4:00 PM. EST

The sputtering Golden State Warriors are fortunate not to be facing Ray Allen when they take on the Seattle SuperSonics on Monday.

The SuperSonics' leading scorer at 24.1 points per game, Allen will be serving the final contest of a three-game suspension for getting into a fight with Orlando's Keyon Dooling on Wednesday.

Seattle has lost five of its last six games, including both during Allen's suspension. On Saturday, the Sonics were blown out by the Los Angeles Clippers, 98-72, after making barely one-third of their shots from the floor (27-of-79). Rashard Lewis had 22 points to pace Seattle in the miserable effort.

Golden State also has struggled of late, dropping its last five games, including three at The Arena in Oakland. On Saturday, the Warriors lost a home contest to the Los Angeles Lakers, 110-104, despite 37 points from Jason Richardson.

The Warriors have won the last three meetings between the teams, including a 110-107 overtime triumph in Seattle on December 13.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS @ MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES >>>> UNDER 170
San Antonio (28-9, 10-7 away) at Memphis (23-12, 13-5 home) @ 8:00 PM. EST *TNT

For the second time in three days, the San Antonio Spurs and the Memphis Grizzlies collide in a Southwest Division contest.

The Spurs escaped with a thrilling 80-79 triumph in the front end of a home-and-home series that concludes here Monday. Saturday's game was decided on Tim Duncan's alley-oop layup with 7.2 seconds left.

Pau Gasol scored 26 points for Memphis but was 4-of-13 from the free-throw line and had five turnovers. The Grizzlies had a chance to pull out the win, but Bobby Jackson's last-second jumper was off the mark.

Manu Ginobili, starting for the first time in seven games, scored 20 points and dished out seven assists, including the floating inbounds pass that Duncan turned into the final points of the game. Ginobli has been battling a foot injury.

Before Saturday's defeat, the Grizzlies had won seven of their last eight games overall and five of six against the Spurs before Saturday's defeat.

Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings.
