Dallas -6 vs. Miami
The sentiment that seems to be echoing on this forum is the overly obvious "NBA gave Miami Game 5, Dallas is back home, NBA wants a Game 7, Dallas will cruise in Game 6." If everybody is right and cashes in, that would be great and I'd be glad to see it. I'm just not so sure it'll be as easy as you all think. This is by no means a giveaway type game for Miami. So many factors as to why. You know they can taste this shit. One fucking win away from their first title. Shaq and Riley want this thing more than anything in this world. They know how tough it is to win Game 7 on the road. This is the game to sneak up on Dallas when everyone assumes Dallas will win, and maybe catch Dallas a little tight or overanxious. They cannot afford to be blown out here. Absolutely cannot afford it. First off, having to win 1 of 2 here, they need to give themselves a chance in the 4th each time. Heading into Game 7 after getting beaten by DD's AGAIN at Dallas, for the 3rd time this series, obviously their confidence would be minimal. I believe this is a supremely important game for Miami, psychologically. Even if they don't win, a solid performance is a MUST imo. At least playing Dallas will close will give them the confidence that they can pull out a Game 7. I don't think I'm gonna take Miami, unless the line goes even higher than this. But this whole vibe with everybody and their mother wanting to lay big points vs. Wade and Riley in this spot is a little scary. Obviously the calls will be different, etc. But -6 is no small number. Anyway, as for the total, it seems very tight once again. Doesn't appear to be any strong edge there on the total either way. I'm guessing it lands right around the number.
