    YTD (12-6)

    INDIANAPOLIS COLTS -7.5 -105
    @ NEW YORK JETS
Indianapolis (3-0, 1-0 away) at New York Jets (2-1, 0-1 home) *CBS

    SERIES HISTORY
Indianapolis holds a 39-25 edge in its all-time regular season series with the Jets, including a 38-31 home triumph when the teams last met, in 2003. Indy also won the last time it played the Jets at Giants Stadium for a regular season game, taking a 45-24 decision in 2001. New York's last regular season win in the series came in 2001, and its last home regular season win came in 2000.

In addition to the regular season series, the teams have met on two occasions in the postseason. The first-ever meeting between the franchises resulted in a landmark 16-7 win for the Jets over the then-Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III. Also, in a 2002 AFC First-Round Playoff, the Jets scored a memorable 41-0 home victory.

Indianapolis head coach Tony Dungy is 1-3 in his career against the Jets, including a 1-1 mark since coming to the Colts in 2002. The Jets' Mangini will be meeting both Dungy and the Colts for the first time as a head coach.

    OVERALL ANALYSIS
It might be nice for commissioner Roger Goodell's vision of parity to see the Jets score a win over a team universally perceived to be their superior, but it'd probably take a poetic scenario concocted by Jersey heroes Bruce Springsteen or Jon Bon Jovi to actually make it happen.

The Colts may not be the perfect football team in every facet of the game, but they're better than New York in every area that's likely to matter on Sunday.

Expect Manning to especially shred a vulnerable defensive backfield, and, unless turnovers keep it close longer than likely, expect him to be comfortable on the bench sometime in or near the fourth quarter.

    MINNESOTA ViIKINGS @ BUFFALO BILLS -1.5 -105
    Minnesota (2-1, 1-0 away) at Buffalo (1-2, 0-1 home) @ 1:00 PM. EST. *FOX

    SERIES HISTORY
Minnesota leads its all-time series with Buffalo, 7-3, but was a 45-39 overtime loser when the teams last met, in 2002 at the Metrodome. Minnesota's last win over the Bills occurred in 2000, and the Vikings also took a 34-13 decision when the teams last faced off in Buffalo, during the 1997 campaign. The Bills are 0-2 in home games against the Vikings since a 13-10 victory at Rich Stadium in 1988.

Buffalo head coach Dick Jauron is 5-6 in his career against Minnesota, including a 21-16 loss in his first game as interim head coach of the Lions last season. Childress will be meeting both Jauron and the Bills for the first time as a head coach.

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS @ BALTIMORE RAVENS -1 -105
San Diego (2-0, 1-0 away) at Baltimore (3-0, 1-0 home) @ 1:00 Pm. EST. *CBS

    SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series between the Ravens and Chargers is knotted, 2-2, with Baltimore evening the series by virtue of a 24-10 win during the 2003 campaign. The Ravens also won the only all-time matchup between the teams played in Baltimore, taking a 24-3 decision in 2000. San Diego's most recent win in the series was a 14-13 triumph at Qualcomm Stadium in 1998.

Ravens head coach Brian Billick is 2-0 in his career against the Chargers. Schottenheimer is 0-1 against both Billick and the Ravens as a head coach.

    OVERALL ANALYSIS
The Ravens were caught napping last week against the Browns and it would be very surprising if that happened two weeks in a row. Baltimore's defense will have its hands full with San Diego's many weapons, but the club has humbled great offenses in the past. The Ravens will throw everything they have at the inexperienced Rivers and make him look like a quarterback that is starting just his third NFL game.
The Chargers defense will hold its own against Baltimore's offense, but it won't be enough to get the tough road win
