YTD (24-10)
Here are my plays for today. Lines have changed a bit since I made my bets but this is what I locked in at.
Cincinatti -6
Dallas/Houston OVER 41.5
Detroit/Buffalo OVER 39
Philly -2.5
Miami +3.5
Monday night:
Chicago/Zona OVER 37
Here are my writeups that I sent to BigEagle earlier in the week.
Cinci - 6 Cincinatti comes into this game 2 weeks after losing their first game of the year. They have heard a lot of shit talked about them during this week off. Not only are people upset about their performance against New England but fans are upset about the crap going on off the field. Cincinatti has arguably been outperformed in their last 2 games (they did beat the Steelers 2 weeks ago). With a good coach in Marvin Lewis, I expect this team to have their shit together and be ready to play. This opportunistic defense should be able to pick off Gradkoski. Tampa Bay is in total disarray right now. After, getting their balls kicked in(after looking like they had their first win) by Reggie Bush I expect them to come out flat. Gradkoski looked good last game but it is rare for a young QB to have back to back good games. I think the season gets longer in Tampa with a blow out loss....
Dallas/Houston OVER 41.5 Well this line has already rose to 43.... I expect this game to be a shootout. Houston actually has done some decent things in the passing game so far this year. If I am not mistaken, doesn't Carr have one of the top passer ratings in the league? With that being said, Houston does have the worse secondary in the league IMO. With not so much of a good pass rush, the immobile Bledsoe should be able to secure his job with a 300 yard performance. Also alot has been said about Dallas having a top notch defense....didnt Philly have 3 TD passes of 35 + yards?? Over is the play here.....
Detroit/Buffalo OVER 39 Buffalo comes into this game with the 12th ranked pass defense, while Detroit's is 30th...Don't let the Bills fool you though- they have played CHI, Minnesota, and Miami (teams who dont pass that good or normaly for a lot of yards). The Bills have a few good DBs but did finish 19th, just last year. If you throw out that FG fest in week 1, Detroit has given up 34, 31, 41, and 26 points! Their offense has also improved, scoring 24,34,and 17 in their L3. The Bills have given up scores of 41 and 28 in 2 out of their L3. I expect both offenses to be able to move the ball in this game....I think this game will go over the total early...
Chicago/Arizona OVER 37 Besides in week 1, all of the Bears totals have gone over. Chicago has covered the total by themselves in 3 of those games. I expect the Bears, once again, to be able to have a lot of success against this Cardinal defense. No Fitzgerald hurts things for Arizona on the offensive side of the ball(Bryant Johnson is a viable fill in though). When I first saw this line I liked it a lot. Now, I am a little skeptical on it...but i still took it
Philadelphia - 2.5 OK that band wagon list that I joined last week of New Orleans....Umm yeah can you take me off that list. I see the Eagles defense being able to shut down every facet of this offense. The thing is I do not see The Aints being able to stop the Eagles. I think Mcnabb(for MVP) will be able to have his way with this NO team. Philly 27-3
Miami + 3.5 (hook) How on earth can the New York J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS be giving another team points? Didnt anyone see this team's true colors come out against the Jags? First I want to say that I was that guy who did not think that this Dolphin team was any good this year. People talked all preseason about them winning the east and bla bla bla. So I am not a big Dolphin guy but they are totally being way under-valued here IMO. A good way to get your offense going is to play this New York team who has given up at least 20 the last 4 weeks and 41 and 31 in the L2. Guys the bad Jacksonville offense put up 41 on them!!! Miami really did not play that bad last week and could have easily won SU...A debatable call on the goal line cost them along with 2 missed FGs(and yes I know that is part of the game).
