This is a good move for the Bills IMO...they needed a 'show' to draw fans, and an instant infusion of offence. T.O. accomplishes both of those things.
I live within a resonable drive from Buffalo, but haven't bothered going to a game because they have had nothing but B-list talent in that lineup for years. I will go to a Bills game this fall though (in Toronto most likely)...they finally have a player worth watching.

He doesn't play well and doesn't care to play well when coming from back from a difficult deficit. You hear all the time how the team needs to get him involved early. If a team doesn't get him involved early, he half asses all his routes for the rest of the game. If the balls not coming to him, it's pretty much advertised. He won't start playing hard again until the score gets back within reach of a win. I was watching an analysis on ESPN where a high percentage of his drops come either in the first quarter or when they are loosing. He's a player that will take his ball and go home if he isn't happy about the game.

So what does that have to do with Owens?Originally posted by Shibby View PostYou know how when you watch a game and one team gets off to a slow start. Well unless the other team starts playing bad, you put yourself in a hole essentially making you loose the game before it's over. Have you heard the phrase that, you can't win a game in the first half, but you can loose it?Originally posted by FrankTheTank55 View PostHow is that irrelevent? Your the one that brought up the fact that he didnt have any Superbowl rings. And I dont think he has been any type of plague recently. But this is something we could go back and forth over and over about. I think his good points outweigh the bad. He cant be covered and that is what matters. He is a receiver and he is great at that, he cant play defense or offensive line so you cant blame him for any TEAMS inability to win a superbowl. Just like one man cant win a superbowl, I dont think one man can prevent you from winning a superbowl.

Exactly and that's my point. The Bills have some pretty good receivers to begin with, but you can't throw to them if you don't have a good offensive line or quarterback. They should have spent the money elsewhere like they should have been the past few years.Originally posted by Shibby View PostHow many super bowl rings does T.O. have? Well one man is never the answer, but he has more talent then 90% of the recievers in the league. You need talent to win.Originally posted by Timma View PostHaha are you kidding me? The Bills think this is the answer to their problems, but they are way off. TO is a primadonna. All he does is bring issues to where he plays.
I believe so. If he doesnt like something he lets you know. I dont see anything wrong with that. He wants to win.Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostIsn't he fairly well-behaved now though?
