When I went to see it - there were like 3 showings, 11am 3 something (time i went) and like 9pm - same place now and it's on at 9:40. Not selling to well and the new releases over this weekend have pushed it out of some places... damn FB I know you would like it too, it's a good watch no doubt. There are theaters like 15 miles from my house instead of the 1/2 mile that are still playing it, again restricted timings but it is still out there.

"The Strangers" is an excellent horror film imo, love it. I just love how the whole film again, like The Collector, is filmed basically in one location. I find that the house movies like this are by far the best. If you go back a little to deniro in cape fear - great for suspense (not for horror).

Japanese horror is a whole different breed, I think it's machine girl? The one where the brother is killed and the girl like puts guns and shit on her limbs lmao.. I think a lot of people are actually scared by some of these horror movies so the fact that I find them interesting makes them think I'm fuckin nuts. Which I have no problem with, in fact it keeps a shit ton of people away I want nothing to do with :thumup:. I won't ruin the torture parts, they are all completely realistic, very easy to setup, just would need the time and understanding of the house. The thing I really like is it's 1:25 minutes long and about 5 minutes of that is character intro for the cat burglar, after that it is just all about who the fuck the dude is or why he is doing it. They have numerous scenes where he could easily kill someone but they zoom to his face and it looks like his brain is on ex or something, he just sits and waits for them to stumble into his traps unless exigent circumstances arise.

The japenese movie i am talkin about is different. Opening scene is this girl trying to fight her way out of this net she was captured in. These guys come and beat the shit out of her than drag her into this house where the torture begins
