For me, and I think in general, seeing an over the top display of intimacy tugs at those feelings connected to respect. If it's a public area then it is a shared area and it should be treated with the respect you wish others to show you. Maybe one set of people don't mind the pda, but there is probably something they do mind that the next set may not.

hardly, I tested into schools until I was kicked out and then after public schools booted me I had to be taught @ home for a few years.

I was brought up in private schools where any displays were looked at as sins, so for awhile I was the exact opposite of what you just stated. As I've grown up some, I agree with you. I don't see the need to go all out in the middle of an area where children could be strolling around. I'm the last person to shelter someone, but being responsible on a matter like this is simply good behavior.

A couple friends and I went out a couple weeks ago. We ended up at this bar at the end of the night. My buddy is a bouncer there and it was my first time at this bar. So, Im standing at the bar and the guy is looking me up and down. I just blew it off. Well like 20 minutes later my buddy and me are standing by the dance floor and I look over at this section that was roped off and there were like 20 guys over there grinding on each other and making out giving each other lap dances and shit. I was disturbed by it but I wasnt anger or anything. I pointed it out to my buddy and he starts gagging and damn near threw up. He starting making comments about thats fucked up and stuff like that. I was kinda embrassed by the way he was acting. Im dont care what people do but I dont think Ill hang out there again. But I dont think its cool for a guy and girl to make out like that in public. Maybe because Im a little older now.
