I've been eating indian food since I was a little kid (Dad's side of the family is Indian)....it's fantastic food. I agree with Bouncer: dipping fresh hot Naan into sauces is heavenly.
At one place I like in Montreal, Bombay Palace, we often go there before a hockey game and order cocktail kebabs and several Naan breads. Having a few beers while dipping pieces of Naan into the sauce and eating those tasty little kebab slices is a perfect fast meal when you're in a rush to get to a 7pm game.
And Mr. Incredible is right, most indian food is NOT healthy....plenty of clarified butter (ghee) is used to prepare most dishes. But then again, not many foods that taste so great are healthy. If you're trying to eat clean, stick to the Tandoori chicken.

Loads of Indian food in the UK, love it but makes me stink and is one of the highest fat and sugar content foods around, unless you have chicken tika

I'm not close minded by any means. I'm just picky and never really thought about or had a real desire to go eat it. But maybe I will now that you guys talk about how good it is.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postahh well that's just being close minded.

but not all indian food taste like curry or the way the houses smell.

Pakistani and Indian food are similar except for a few things. Indian food tends to have more seasoning and Pakistani food has more spices. Afghan/Irani food also is more flavor than spices. So it's all a preference. I actually get sick of Pakistani food quick because it's what I have been eating since I was little.

CANADIAN FOOD IS THE SHIT!Originally posted by dna9488 View PostTurkish food? I have never had that stuff. Paki food is good, and Indian food is good (only if you have it at the right place).
Iranian food is also good, but not as flavorful nor heavy flavored like Indian and Paki food. Afghan food is also good, it is a mix of Iranian food and Paki food. There is flavor, but not a heavy amount of spicy's to burn your mouth nor little enough to make it bland.

Chicken tikka masala is good.
Paki food isn't bad either. DBJ brings some of her chicken, your mouth is on fire, i'll eat it with vege's and brown rice. Big smile on my face
