it's concern for others , not my own happiness bro - I just don't want to see other children go through what I witnessed - maybe that's naive but it's how I feel still. My own happiness has nothing to do with what other people do.:thumup:

Im not spinning what you are saying, I'm trying to make you see the inaccuracies in what you have been taught / believe. That maybe, just maybe, you have only seen one side of the issue. If you don't care about it, you shouldn't care that gay men marry or have children.

I think Chris is trying to point out that all these things are what people are and not what they choose to be. That if you put restrictions, be it marriage, adoption... to gays or interracial; you are worried about them following the rules of your life to make you happy and not them.

Personally, I believe you might as well be saying it is a choice. You are saying that being gay is a societal issue rather than a biological issue. You are WRONG. And I knew I should have stayed out of this, because you are right. I am not making my point clearly and I am not trying to put words in your mouth...but I am. I get a little heated over this debate as I have seen how homosexuality affects people first hand.

No, its not. That is a personal opinion you feel, its not fact. Skin pigmentation and how the chemical receptors react in the brain are both biological functions that have developed a certain way. One is not a 'choice', thats the stupidest bs I've ever heard.

I feel sexuality is in the subconscious whereas skin color is obviously not a brain function :)

Arousal is a chemical reaction in the body, if anything it is a difference in the brain function between straights and gays. And don't even get started about 'fixing' it, because skin color pigmentation is simply a result of where that persons ancestors developed on Earth a long time ago. Something that can ALSO be changed when proper research is done...as well.
