I am just thinking that kidney already has to do double the work because there is only kidney there to filter the blood, and now it has to filter even more blood because of the increases in size. I spoke to a red cross nurse when I was giving blood and she said larger people can have up to 3 more pints of blood than an average sized person.

Its a fair question, anatomicaly I don't know the answer, you have more than the normal muscle so supporting your skeletol structure would become easier. The flip side is that there is more muscle to service with blood and nutrients, is there a trade off going on. Certainly if you were to put ronny coleman on a treadmil next to a marathon runner you could gues what would happen after 30 minutes, much more oxygen requirement to move that mass = bigger strain on the heart.

Day to day I'm not sure, renaly I'm not sure
