it has 5 small speakers and a sub woofer and I've set them all to 5 DB (goes up to 10.
I haven't started hanging the little speakers off walls and stuff yet but it sounds much better and I've never had surround sound before.
Thing is there's so many settings;
Stereo (sounds a bit distant)
VSS (sounds echoey)
Dolby Digital (by far the best)
Then there's
Night on/off (on seeme to dumb the sound down a bit presumably in case its night time and you have kids asleep)
Dim - don't know what that is
Anyone have any tips
