Not really to be honest. Total for all that stuff is like $3500 and I didnt buy it all at once. Speakers I bought like 8 months before the TV, bought the new receiver like 6 months after that etc.. So $3500 divided by 3-4 separate purchases etc..

rado you act like we dont have money or cant afford other things but spend all our money on tech shit. you very well know me and sana own a house in a different state and rent our apartment where we live. owning a house in the area that i live in is not a smart move. you pay out the ass for an average place at best and you get raped on property tax.

see, now martin logan is way to far over the top. way way to expensive. you should hear my polks bro. amazing sound. i can hear peoples noses whistling from a booger on a tv show or movie. :rofl:Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostI know bro... but not right now. see i had the opposite experience as you did. i had a 65 inch in Raleigh. we sat about 10 feet away from it and it was way way to much for normal tv viewing like the news or a tv show etc..Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostLet me tell you, I thought that as well. Having the 70" is such a total immersive experience, everything else looks ridiculous in comparison. You sit 8' from a 70" television, it's just like being in the movie theater.
I think I am destined for a projector :weights:
the only time we liked it was when watching movies.

if you have a big ass living room or watching area, even a 70 inch can be to small if you set fucken 30 feet away. lol
