  • New bodybuilding movie released " Evolution of Bodybuilding ".

Award winning Producer and Director of Trick Entertainment, Patrick Rivera, has ventured into the history of professional bodybuilding’s highest honor, The Mr. Olympia and how it has evolved over the last 50 years. Rivera stated, "I have been a fan of bodybuilding and the industry since high school. We are pleased to be working with the incredibly talented and knowledgeable Hall of Fame Bodybuilder, Shawn Ray, as Co-Producer. Shawn has competed in more Mr. Olympia Contests than anyone in the sport. He promoted and produced Pro/Am Bodybuilding Contests, Muscle Camps, Charity fundraisers and was even an International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) Athlete Representative. Without his veteran knowledge and experience in the sport, this film would not have become a reality. Evolution of Bodybuilding ( www.evolutionofbodybuilding.com ) is the first major movie to come out about the bodybuilding industry since the iconic "Pumping Iron" film." Interviews were shot on location from coast to coast and overseas for this film. Trick Entertainment and Shawn Ray Productions sat one on one with nine of the thirteen Mr. Olympia winners, several IFBB Hall of Fame Bodybuilders and several industry leaders including “The Father of Bodybuilding,” Joe Weider; first Mr. Olympia, Larry Scott; and current Mr. Olympia, Phil Heath. “Our goal is and always has been to preserve the foundation of the sport and help educate future generations of bodybuilders,” said Ray. "Everyone who participated in this film brought an interesting perspective and shared their incredible experiences. This film will give the audience a glimpse into the history of bodybuilding and where the sport is headed in the future. These industry legends discussed what it took to be the best bodybuilder in the world and what others had to go through to try and get there. This is the first documentary of this kind and we believe this can become an award-winning film earning broad and wide viewership from both fans of the sport and those that are not. I wanted to show that these athletes are everyday people like you and me with a passion and love for this sport," said Rivera.
