I really do want to go somewhere different, and I've been to Mexico and Hawaii. I definitely need to get back to Europe, I just don't know if it's in the 5-7 day range right now.
Clearly, I don't know what the hell I want.

I wouldn't mind doing that, for sure. I'd prefer to go somewhere else besides Mexico, in an all-inclusive, but I'm sure that would definitely be a good, relaxing time.

If your staying in one place out of the country like a villa in Tuscany for example I think a week is perfect. Basically 5 days of rest and relaxation and 2 days traveling to and from.Originally posted by BEAST View PostOne week is too short to leave the country and since you live in seasonless Florida I'd go somewhere with some scenery and calmness.
If you are planning leave soon I'd find a place like this if I were you.
If however you plan on traveling around and going multiple places like a food tour of Italy/France yea you would need at the very least 10 days preferably 2 weeks IMO.

Yes, I'd like to plan a trip around next summer.Originally posted by TKD View PostAre you planning a trip?
Have you been to Fiji? I'd definitely love to go there.Originally posted by henrysiek View Postoh i thought we were talking dreams
definitely hawaii or any other pacific island within a 5-6 hours flight time.
for me here in Aus it would have to be either Fiji or Vanuatu they are dirt cheap and really good.

Henry, have you been to the Cook Islands, bro? One of my colleagues at work went there few years ago and he raves about it. I guess it is pretty deserted and the reefs and lagoons are fantastic, like Tahiti without crowds and Frenchy attitude lol..Last edited by Scrumhalf; 10-06-14, 11:39 PM.
