Yep. The good thing is that you don't have to interact with many people when you have hundreds of acres. :thumb:

Ha, I agree in a way. I'm sure there is beautiful land there. It's just the people in general I'd have a hard time with I think. Different world, especially from the areas that I have lived.Originally posted by Turbo3000 View PostI'll take a few hundred acres of land in Alabama or Tennesee. I assumed it was more like Virginia which I drove through seemed fine.Originally posted by dna9488 View PostI've been to West Virginia twice. Place is an absolute dump. They have the fire department, police station, postal office, and a liquor store in the same shopping center right next to one another. On top of that I walked into the 7/11 to pump gas and grab a water. Everyone stared at me as if I was lost or something. On top of that the 7/11 employees were white (I was expecting a fellow brownie).
One good thing is property is cheap over there and you'll get a good amount of land with your property.
Can't imagine it being better than the other states listed

I'm surprised Texas isn't on th list. I was led to believe it's pretty cheap down there. Is that just in terms of land/housing prices?

Ohio is good for something. :) When you can buy a decent house cheaper than most trucks these days then you can get a LOT of house for your dollar. My cousin in San Diego has a shack of a house for 400k. 400k around me will get you a 5 bed room 4 car garage brand new huge ass house.
