Fiber ade out of Vegi's

I have this fiber I have been taking from either WalMart or Target. I bought it cause I have trouble u know....... Well some people say that with this u cannot gain weight or anyting like that cause its flushing all the good nutrients from your body away. Is this true or a myth.
