I don't even know because I don't do flat, only very occassionally after doing my inclines so strength is down anyway, as soo as I spend much time on flat my lower chest baloons up and I hate the look, makes everything else look outa whack and unathletic, I'd prefer a smaller tight pec anyday and thats what I'm working back toOriginally posted by THE BOUNCER View PostI can do more on incline then flat believe it or not.

thats strong for incline, hmm there;s a challenge 405lb for 1-2, not really one for one rep max's but I'll see how I go and maybe give it a shot when my elbows are backOriginally posted by THE BOUNCER View Posti think my max on incline was something like 405 for 1 or 2 when i was eating dbol for lunch, drinking test for dinner, and shooting HGH into my veins at night. lol
dont look like you could even get 1 405 there with your elbows floping around in weakness. :D
j/k its pretty clear you train hard bro. i always argue about nothing so pay no attention. lol

LOL thanks, not having a cock measuring contest and I'm sure you could do them also. You inclined about 365lb for ten at your best right? thats pretty strong but don't take that vid of me inclining with my tricepts failing as my best strength, I posted that to show you what I done before the flyes. Its funny how you say I'm strong with curls now after slating them the other day lol!Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postmy point is that the movement of the real fly completely changes at that sort of weight. again, i am not putting you down as i do the same thing.
i am arguing details i guess. i can do the same sort of weight for that kind of movement but i have never really consider it a fly in its purest sense.
you are strong with db curls i will give you that. the other movements, not so much. :D

OK well I'll finish by saying I don't think there was alot of bend in my arms, the dumbells at the bottom of the movement were well outside of my elbow position if you were looking down from the ceiling, well outside! so its not a fly press.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postno, you shouldnt keep your arms as straight as possable. there should be a slight bend. but a fly in its strictest sense is to be pulled with the chest. when you keep the weight close to the body and lift it as you are it is more of a push then a pull.
i am not saying it doesnt work and i am not saying i dont do them myself.
but when you tell people "i can fly 110lb db's" its painting a certain picture in peoples mind. i knew exactly what kind of fly you were talking about.
check out your idol doing flyes, he's got about 90's or maybe 100's there, his elbow bends about the same as mine although hehas longer arms and thats on flat. you still hevan't addressed my question about mine compared to Dorian's so i'll give up.

there's no way you should have straight arms or virtually straight with 110lbs in your hands, it has bicep strain or tendon strain written all over it.
I appreciate your honest take on it though, and with the incline presses is you watch them I piss half the movement but hit a sticking point on each one where the tricepts come into play and we both know why, because I trained them a couple days ago. Never spouted about being strong on here though I'm not saying that.

Thats just crazy bro, my arms don't even bend through the movement as much as Dorian's but there's no way you should keep your arms as straight as possible when your up at 110lb! you need some bend in the elbow or else you'll screw ande strain your elbow. Thats not a good guide vid, in fact the ectomorph has his lower arms almost turned so much hi arm pits are fascing the ceiling, bad form.
Compare my form to that of six times Mr Olympia with the same weight and tell me if mine is better or worse
