Here is my doc performing the pec repair.

P.S. Not my surgery but same procedure.

But surgery is only needed for when it's severe. Don't get me wrong, it fucking hurts right now pretty bad. But I'm able to slowly and I mean slowly move my arm, but super super sensitive/tender....

It was definitely not properly being warmed up and ready to go. Regardless of how strong anyone is, 315 is a solid weight and I should have been more cautious.

Scary how true this statement is, except I didn't need to be taken to the hospital. But in terms of one minute you're performing the ROM, and then rrrrriiiiiiippppppp.....ugh:noo:

Sorry about that ronin. Good news is, if you get it repaired right (depending on the severity of the tear) recovery is pretty much 100%. While I have no problem with the range of motion or the way my chest feels during light benching and stuff, I will never bench more than 185 again.

It is not worth the hassle. I can do bunch of other shit for my chest.

P.S. Since I tore my chest twice when I flex it does look kind of off.
I remember it happening to you. It's happened a few times no? I'm making an appointment to see my PCP this Friday and having blood work done to see how I'm doing...

I know just about anyone would say that 315 is a lot of weight, and it is. But I have videos from 2010 of me doing the exact same thing, same warm up, same rep count, etc....but today was definitely a wake up call. First thing I said was, well actually 2nd thing I said....the first one was when I said in my head as I ripped, "I'm fucked"....anyways...I said....I didn't warm up enough; I knew it.

My takeaway from this? I will never cut my warm ups short ever again...

    Nope.

I had done some minor chest yesterday so I was a bit sore; but I've done this before. I just don't think I really warmed up as I have in the past. I will admit I kind of rushed my between sets too quickly.
