The ACLU managed to get a stay order from a federal judge on the executive order. A small victory - much more to be done.

Lawyers are saying that DHS and Customs agents are ignoring the court's stay order under orders from the executive branch.

We are now officially a banana republic, folks.

IMO this is dumbest and most dangerous decision yet. Everyone's focused on the travel ban but this should be very very worrying to everyone. I'd like to hear from people like ripper who support trump in general. How do you feel about this move?

he removed the highest ranking military official in the armed forces and replaced him with a political blogger as the head of national security council.

Do a little research bro..Obama did the same thing to Iraqis and I believe jewish folks in 2009 and 2011 if .....I'm correct...... people are freeking out and blowing it out of proportion saying its a ban based on religion.. pure bullshit.. Funny how it wasn't even news worthy when Obama did it...LMFAO Its a 90 day time out if you will to review policies for vetting people from high risk countries that are known to harbor terrorists. personally I think a lot more countries should of been on the list. ask Germany france and other countries how not vetting people from these areas is working out... I think you know the answer.

Just my opinion.

Oh my bad bro, thought you were talking about the ban..

If you do a bit of research, you will see and find that more high ranking generals in all services have been forced to early retire or were relieved of command under Obama then any other president in history. he wanted yes men.. not people who would say what they believed was best for the country.

Its my understanding that Bannon does have some military background. I don't know much about him to be honest. But there is a lot of rhetoric from the left about him, really pretty much everyone in trumps cabinet though..LOL But I have to assume that if some of these other great military folks Trump has placed on board are working within that same cabinet of people a smart balanced conversation will take place on any decision's that are made. Then its up to Trump to say yes , no or implement what he wants or a compromise. Pretty simple really... of course you could watch all the dooms day folks and believe the world is gonna end again.. Funny how that seems to be the case pretty much every day now...

your being dramatic...like others.. did you even bother to read what I typed...its all about balance in his cabinet..there are real generals there bro... Its obvious trump sees something of value in this guy or he wouldn't be there. I don't know what it is. But I have faith in quite a few others he has picked that I know will advise him on the right direction to take action. Its up to trump to make the decision..Not Bannon..Not the generals..trump. Its on his head...The people around him will give him their perspectives on what ever the issue is..trump then decides.

I can't help but poss myself laughing at this travel ban and a small part of me is applauding his balls. I don't agree with racism but right or wrong he is trying to protect the borders and it's countries of known terrorism that are being targeted.

Boris Johnson is making me laugh too and I like that terresa may is not backing down from the invite to him.

All these people organising campaign to stop the visit, where the fuck were they and why didn't they protest against saudi Arabia royals coming here?

I think what it is for me is that people take things for granted. In the UK we have so many ungrateful leaches from other cultures that refuse to assimilate and just assume they deserve a piece if what we built.

Trump is shattering the illusion that we are powerless.

What is sad is when the west goes in and completely fucks up a country without reason and then bans them from coming like libya

They will say we are exaggerating and being dramatic. But if you look at the situation in Germany, the hows and whys of how Hitler came to power, there are some very strong similarities.

People today think the German people elected this jew killing madman and they say "oh we would never elect that type of person"... Thing is, he became that years AFTER he took power. He purged the government and got rid of anyone who could get in his way. He surrounded himself with yes men. He attacked the media and casted blame on specific groups of people. Only after he did these things did the madman that we all read about emerge. Once he did, it was to late to stop.

He just fired the Attorney General who disagreed with him on the legality of his ban. Not a very good sign - lack of tolerance for dissent is hallmark of fascism.
