It's the one in red. I had contemplated with the white satin finish, but the red has the upgraded Ohlins track set up. I pick up the bike next week due to leaving tomorrow to Lake George for a few days. More more pics and videos to come.
It's been a long time of me not riding since having my high side.
Gonna order a gopro helmet cam.

It WAS a tough decision for sure.
The liter gixxer, who's btw THEE best in overall world championships.
You got the Doc who's a Yammi player and then you got Ducati in it's own class.
One of my buddies said, why not get the Ducati. A few more grand and get a world class bike. I literally don't have to add any mods it's so fast and powerful

New...it is that one in the pic.
I pick it up Tues no later than Wednesday. Leaving for Lake George this weekend for a few days, then I'll pick this bad boy up.
I'll be sure to post pics and some riding videos soon
Getting Arai gear for the helmet and joe rocket for the coat. I've had the HJC helmet and felt it was cheap shit.
But Joe rocket gear is really good

My jacket is Joe rocket too. Good gear for the price. Helmet is HJC. Does the job and had a built in retractable sun visor. Fits good for my head shape and is affordable. I'll just stick with it for a while. Spent good money on some alpinestars gloves.
No assless chaps if anyone is wondering... Queers

Nice, always wanted a Ducati myself. Ride safe!
I had a Shoei when I rode. Arais are really nice too. You either have a Shoei head or an Arai head. Try before you buy.

The difference in those 2 brands IMO, is style. Arai makes some sick looking helmets.
I'm looking right now to see which one I'd like

since rado's thread sucks anyway we can move on to netflix discussion.
me and my girl watched some French series last weekend called 'The Forest'. was pretty damn good, check it out.
When a teen girl disappears from a village near the Ardennes Forest, local police and a concerned teacher begin to uncover a web of unsettling secrets.

No more riding at high speed wearing just your man thong...make sure you wear proper foot wear, preferably thigh high red leather boots.

It is a matte finish; THAT sealed the deal for me in the choices I had.
I also looked at this one, but the price is $23K...I had originally began at $8/$9K for a bike. Wanted to just pay cash. So I end up with mine at near $18K.
This one here is bad ass!!!

Yours is way better looking. I don't know shit about bikes but the one you picked is bad ass looking. That grey thing in the pic above looks like shit. I'll take yours all day over that other filth.
I don't know why the one you bought had 2 little cups of urine on the dash though. Weird shit.

Those cups of urine are the oils for the brake and clutch lol

Nope.
Unless they have a test model, maybe.
My only thing I need adjusting to is the wet clutch system. Ducati uses a wet clutch system vs all other brands, they don't.

An endorsement is all you need. I'm getting a permit first, then 30 days later, they issue my permanent endorsement.
But I can ride now, just if I get pulled over(no crotch rocket EVER pulls over, especially a liter bike)my bike gets towed.
I'd never run, I'd stop.

You'll need to take a riding test to get an endorsement on your license. However, if you take an MSF course, they will waive the test. At least, that's the way it was back when I started riding.

I took the msf course. For Ohio they do the test at the end of the course and give you a voucher if you pass. Take it in to the BMV within 30 days and it waives the test. Definitely worth the $50 for the course. Best way to learn the fundamentals, especially since the state supply's the bikes. Dropping them isn't as bad as your own

I think it's a bad ass bike, but I just don't have the balls to ride one on the same road as 2000 lb cars with texting and driving teenagers behind the wheel. Sucks because I'd really like to get a bike.

A couple of months ago I was at the lights and a guy came along side yelling at me through my window because I was looking at my phone. It was a red light and I had literally just picked it up. I never check it while im driving.
so we are there screaming at each other through the window and he was starting to upset me. There was a million cars behind us and the light went green and we are slowing rolling off still yelling while people behind us are sounding horns at us.
At this point we are moving but barely, so I took the liberty of giving him a little nudge with my front end. I had to have a little chuckle at I watched him in my rearview mirror trying to pick his bike back up. I was expecting him to come after me but nope nothing.
So yes there are some idiots on the rd. Be careful rado.

You don't need to take a test. Stop being a pussy! I remember when I turned 19 I bought a Yamaha FZR1000. I prob weighed 150 pounds. lol I picked up my permit and got my bike the same day. That being said, I rode dirt bike since I was 8 but the FZR had a little more pep than my dirt bikes. lol
I sold it in my early 20's because I could not ride it safely. No way I could ever do the speed limit and long trips sucked balls too. I sold it and a couple years later bought a cruiser which I still have today.

Yeah the whole texting n driving thing has got me riding my bike a lot less. I've had a couple close calls because of this exact thing. You definitely won't win on a bike. I try to ride back roads I try to avoid heavy traffic areas when ever I can. Been riding over 40 years now. Still love it..
There's two kinds of riders....those that have gone down....and those that will .....it's just part of it.

Just signed the papers for the bike, I'm officially a Ducati owner
I'll go in the next day or so to register it, then I'll take it home. I could have taken it today, but I wanna ride that son of a bitch off the lot!
I also didn't want to be too pretentious, driving a Benz while trailering a Ducati lol

The irony being that last sentence literally could not be more pretentious... lol.
Take that baby full speed right into the back of a semi brosky! Don't crash into a nice semi though, don't want it to look too pretentious.. lolol
