Just a short statement to say that notwithstanding studies that show Hugh protein diets have no adverse effect.

There is high and then there is off the charts.

A number of my friends of 20 years plus training have kidney issues and it's not ones that necessarily used a lot of pain meds or diuretics *which are known to damage), it's the ones that had very high protein diets for extended periods, 600grams a day and such.

600 grams a day is nuts. I don't believe anyone can use that amount of protein even on GH, slin, and AAS unless they are 300lbs of pure muscle which is almost nobody.

I can see possibly WSM competitors using that much at 400lbs or whatever they weigh.

Still trying:
1. Beans
2. Soy
3. Low-fat dairy
4. Eggs
5. Nuts and seeds

600 grams a day in nuts: Is not so easy.
I cannot afford to eat that much nuts for protein.
Instead i go for other protein rich foods like eggs.
