So I have begun my first cycle today with a 250mgs of Test E.
This first cycle will be a 12 Week, Test E only.

My cycle will look like this:

250mgs of Test E E4D (which averages out to 438mgs per week, over 12 weeks)
12.5mgs of Liquid Aromasin EOD (if needed on this low dose cycle)

Liquid Nolva for PCT following the cycle.

All from Pharmavol


Here is a little background on me. I have been a member here since 2004 and have been on again off again lurker as my personal time permitted.

Current stats:
6' 1"
194 lbs.
12% bf (based on electronic scale, skin calipers and mirror)

I have spent the past 11 months going from 20% bf (just electronic scale), to where I am now. I was waiting until I got below 15% before I started this cycle and then had the shoulder and Tendonitis in my elbow so I did a lot of cardio while rehabbing.
I have been lifting off and on for the past 30+ years and only have stopped due to injury (hernia, torn shoulder labrums in both shoulders) or illness (I have had 2 bouts with Cancer (Thyroid first, then Kidney).
I am just coming off 2 months of shoulder and elbow tendinitis rehab. I hopefully have learned enough about what I have been careless about in the past to cause these issues and have been given a "toolbox" of new exercises that I can use to still hit everything hard, but try to avoid the things that make it go "ouch".
As I said this is my first cycle after lifting naturally for the past 30+ years (now 46 years old).
I did my first pin 2 hours ago and I was shaking like a little bitch doing it, but after it was done I realized it didn't hurt at all (for now) and the next one will be easier.
I will try and post my lab numbers that I had run through my doctor (initially to check for low T) shortly.

Don't flame me too hard, but any criticism (constructive or otherwise)is welcome.

Question for the enhanced bros on here. Do any of you use the ventrogluteal area to pin? And if so is a 1.5' too long in that area or should I pick up some 1"? I have heard a lot about it but don't know of anyone that has done it. Just thought if it were easy it could be another site to rotate in with.

I’ve personally never used vent glute to pin always my ass shoulders and quads 3-4 weeks out to any show I drop doing my quads inj

I did my right ventrogluteal as my second pin and my left ventrogluteal as my 3rd pin. Both were easy and no pip. Will be trying either my left dorsogluteal(if I can reach back there that far) or attempt my right quad tomorrow morning for my 4th pin. I have a little hesitation on doing the quads as I have heard a lot of feedback on getting really bad pip doing quads, but it still seems a lot of others do them regularly. So I will potentially see what others say here before deciding.
I tried to post my precycle labs and the .pdf was too large to be accepted by the site. I may try another way. Labs are done about 4 weeks ago when I went in to see if I had Low T (I didn't). So I don't know if it gives all the normal detail I should be looking for. I guess others can give me more info once I post them.

I did my 4th pin this morning in my right quad with a 25 gauge 1" needle. No pain whatsoever. I guess I will see in the next day or two if I get any pip. Will be looking at trying delts for my next one on Friday. Does anyone know if I can use the 1" or if I should switch to my 5/8" ? I also switched from E4D to E5D after the 2nd pin.
After the 3 days after my first pin I started to get really sore nips so I started with 12.5mg of aromasin EOD and that was not eneough. I then went to 25mg (12.5am, 12.5pm) ED and it was ok. I now switched to just 25mg in the am and that seems to hold any soreness off for about 27 hours before I start to feel it again. I don't know if it is the liquid aromasin I'm running or I am just really sensitive to gyno (I have a feeling that I am just really sensitive as I have always had hard nips and pretty sensitive even before using anything)
I will start to post up my diet tonight.

never used a 1.5 inch in my life. unless is someone is fat as fuck there is no need for 1.5.

i use half inch slin pins in delts. never a problem, less scar tissue.

I used 1.5" for my first pin (glute) but didn't go all the way in. I will use 1" going forward for just about everything that I have already done (Dorso,Ventro and Thigh). I am pretty lean, but just want to be sure I am at least going deep enough (but not deeper than necessary)

B , What gauge are slin pins? Like 28,30?
Does it take forever to inject with that small of needle?
Also for delts, I thought I saw somewhere that you lean on the bathroom counter and inject. Does that seem easier than letting the arm just hang down?

For VG I use 25ga 1". I've used 1.5 23ga but I think it's overkill.

That's not always the case. I have so much scare tissue in my delts that I have to use 1.5" needle to get through.

You should always buy 1.5" needles. You dont have to stick it all the way in but it's better to have it in case you need to go deeper.

1.5 needle in the glut is good... yields the highest blood saturation, of any shot. Length of pin, muscle group all play a role in pharmacokinetics. 1.5, 25gage for glut, allways.

Ok, placed my third order now through the board sponsor MedLab Gear for some 27g 1/2" needles. If it's like my last two orders, I'll have them by Wednesday at the latest.

I mentioned earlier that I pinned my right quad today with no pain. Well now it has been 10 hours and I am starting to feel as if someone punched me in the leg/ We'll have to see how it is tomorrow, but maybe because this is a "virgin" muscle?

I worked out legs and calves today:

Leg Ext. 3x10-12
Lying Leg Curls 3x10-12
Squats 3x10-12
Hacksquats 3x10-15
Calf Presses 4x12-15

Calories were:
2,569 (up from the 2,000 I was doing pre-cycle to get my body fat to 12%)
Carbs: 259g
Protein: 228g
Fat: 55g

Started on April 1st at 194lbs. I weigh myself at the same time every morning after waking up and taking a dump
This morning: 199.6 lbs. I think my weight is going back up relatively fast due to being in a caloric deficit for several months. I will monitor my weight over the next week and adjust up or down based on how I look in the mirror.

I am going to post up my logs as i go through this first cycle for anyone that wants to see it or any other first timers that may learn from my mistakes. Read it or don't read it, I don't care.

First I had placed an order through the board sponsor MedLab Gear on Sunday and they were at my door on Wednesday. This is my third order with them and all orders have taken 2 days to my location. So don't hesitate to use them.

My 4th pin of my test E only cycle was in my right quad on Sunday. It was painless going in, but was a little sore 10 hours later. The pain did last 3 days and I wouldn't have been able to do legs if they had been scheduled. This morning they were fine and I did legs, no problem.

I will be doing my left quad tomorrow (Friday) morning for my 5th pin. I'll see if that one is any better or worse than the right one.
I am going to add in my next post what I did Monday-Wednesday are far at routines and eating. If anyone sees anything that looks idiotic, just say so.

For my workouts right now, I am doing a higher rep range than I normally would do on most things due to the fact I am still doing some therapy on my shoulders (a little) and tendonitis in my left elbow.
I am also only doing about 15-18 total set s per workout due to the time I have to be in the gym before I go to work. On weekends I may throw in a few more sets as time allows.

Probably going to look at keeping the protein around 250g for now and up the carbs (the opposite of what I did today). So I read conflicting "broscience" on whether you should increase the protein a lot while on cycle or if you should keep the protein moderate and up the carbs, as the gear makes the protein synthesis more efficient and therefore you don't need to up the protein as much. Any input on this would be appreciated as I have been reading conflicting info.

So that finishes my third week on this cycle. I am assuming that it will take 6 weeks before I really start to feel the Test E kick in? The only thing I have noticed so far is the sore,hard nips and my libido has really gone up.

Today was my 6th pin (doing 250mg E5D). I was going to try and do my left DG (I knew trying to reach around was going to be difficult) and I was using a 25g 1 1/2" pin. I started it in and about 1/2 inch in I was getting a lot of pain. I pulled out and decided to do the Right DG instead due to time constraints in the morning before work, so I put on a new pin and stuck the right side. I will be again trying the left Dorso Glute Monday morning.

I ended up pinning in the Left VG instead, which was as smooth as butter. This is the beginning of my week 5. I started on 4/1, so it has been 30 days as of today. So far my weight has gone up about 9 pounds and I do look even leaner than when I started (in my waist and abs). But so far I don't feel that the test has "kicked" in. The weights do not seem much lighter than they normally would and I have not set any PRs. I get bloods done again on 5/14, so that will be the real test. I have my originals prior to cycle, but I have not found a way to make them small enough to post, but I do have them for my baseline.

test should def have kicked in. if your up 9lbs id say its kicked in. first thing i always feel is sex drive increase around week 2-3.

Wouldn't you want to use a 25g in a smaller muscle like the delt and a 23 in the glute? Is the scar tissue why you are now having to use 23g? Man I've injected in scar tissue with a 23g and I press plunger as hard as I can and it hardly moves literally takes over a minute maybe to shoot 1cc in scar tissue sucks. I have scar tissue and I've only been cycling for 3 years started with 22/23g wish I used 25/27 from the start may of minimized the scarring? Gonna try quads first time soon maybe calf lol.

Upper outter quads are simple as shit. People seem to be a little afraid of doing quads but it's painless and super easy especially with 27g. Just sit in chair and your leg is right there, can watch TV while you inject.
