As you all know I have been focusing my training on powerlifting. As a consequence I've gotten a lot heavier. I'm sitting at 343lbs and 26% bodyfat. But I'm strong as fuk. I'm going to continue my calorie surplus until the end of January and then I'm going to go in a deficit to try to get around 18% bodyfat for the summer.

I've got an order coming in and my cycle will be:

20 weeks.

Winstrol 75mg/day - 4-10

Deca week 100mg/week - 1-20

Test C 150mg/week - 1-20

Tren A 600mg/week - 1-20

I'm starting the winny when I start my calorie deficit.

My goal is to keep all the muscle mass I've added while cutting the fat and as we all know tren is great at helping with this. Hopefully the log will help keep my diet accountable when I start the deficit.

I monitor my blood pressure daily. Tren A doesn't seem to affect it. Tren E on the other hand makes it go up.

what's your daily diet? i know your not concerned about bodyfat so i'm not gonna lecture you on cleaning up the diet because that's not your goal. i'm just interested in how much food it takes to maintain that much weight.

I take in around 4500 k/cal per day +/- 500 k/cal. I haven't been keeping diligent records.

I had 8 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and 1 cup of oats. Then I had 4 cups of homemade chicken soup and 1 grilled cheese sandwich. I worked out and after had 1 cup of oats with 2 scoops of whey mixed in then 3 chocolate chip cookies. Then I had 2 cornish hens with a potato and butter noodles. To drink I had a lot of water with 8ish oz of milk and 4ish oz of eggnog. I think that was all. Normally I keep my fat intake lower but I didn't yesterday.

3 cookies? I eat 8 in one sitting... that's junk food...

Look up the verical diet and you can still be strong and not gain so much bodyfat. Typical bro science diet but stan effedring uses it to all his athletes including harthorn who squatted over 900 pounds.
If u want i can email you the book from stan effedring

It depends on how you cook them. If it's in a stew a couple would work. If you bake or fry them you need at least 6 or so to feed a family of 4.

I felt close passing out dragging a deer out of the woods and decided my bulk is over and not in a month like I planned (it was fun while it lasted). Plus my wife is worried about how fat I got.

I had my wife and buddy do a 7 point bodyfat caliper test and the averages are as follows.

Chest 11mm
Belly 40mm
Thigh 16mm
Tricep 15mm
Sub 35mm
Hip 14mm
Midax 25mm.

This puts me at 23.52% bodyfat but I think I am higher. My body stores fat strangely. I expect I'm somewhere around 26% bodyfat but the caliper test will be good as a measure against when I finish my cut.

I'm planning on cutting until I am around 18% bodyfat and then I'll decide if I want to continue cutting or go on maintenance depending on how my lifts are. I want to be under 308lbs so I can be in the 275lbs weight class.

I attached some current pics and a pic of me around 18% bodyfat which is where I feel most comfortable.

Avid I think you standing next to people would give a better perspective of your true size.

It's a weird effect of pictures. You look at Jay Cutler for example and he looks massive in a pic. Then you stand him next to someone like Brian Shaw and Cutler looks like a midget with muscle.

Go grab some random fella walking by your house and take pic next to him.

Yeah that's the downside of bulking too much. I started getting out of breath walking up steps or playing hide the pepperoni. Makes you feel like a turd. That's pretty much when I dropped the deca.

I haven't mentioned my training yet, so I will now. I am currently training by way of Daily Undulating Programming. Recently I only lifted for hypertrophy and strength but I'm adding in power which will make it Daily Undulating Periodization.

Day 1 is back, biceps and traps for hypertrophy.

Day 2 is chest, shoulders, triceps for hypertrophy.

Day 3 is legs for hypertrophy.

Day 4, 5, 6 same schema but for power.

Day 7, 8, 9 same schema but for for strength.

Hypertrophy is 75% 1 rep max

Power is 80% 1 rep max but with speed and explosiveness

Strength is 85% 1 rep max

This gives me 2 days a week of bench, and squats. I am only deadlifting on strength back days, the other back workouts I do accessory exercises.

My favorite pre-workout is test base/suspension or tren base/suspension but I have been working out in the middle of the day and I do not feel like pinning myself in a parking lot, although I know guys that do. As such I look for over-the-counter pre-workouts.

The problem with these pre-workout supplements is that they are shrouded in fact and fiction. There are compounds companies try to sell that have no substantive benefits in humans but might in theory. Even though there is no clinically proven performance enhancing benefit companies might market the compound as “the next big thing.” It is hard to separate the fact and fiction but there are certain compounds that have human based clinical research and have a performance enhancing benefits.
What do I look for in a pre-workout?
I do not buy anything that has a proprietary blend. It may have the compounds you are looking for but it does not list the amount, it could be a miniscule amount that will not benefit you.
Creatine- the most effective supplement, I do not think I need to go in the benefits of this since it is so widely known.
Caffeine- It is a central nervous system stimulant. You want 3-6mg/kg
Beta-alanine- It takes 4-6 weeks to take effect but when it does it allows for higher intensity because it has a buffering capacity by increasing carnosine. It is good for anaerobic exercises and it is good for high volume strength exercises (training for hypertrophy). *It has a more pronounced effect than taking a pure carnosine supplement. The does is 4-6g/day.
Beet root juice- It is an ergogenic ingredient. It has been clinically proven to increase endurance in cycling based sports. It increases aerobic capacity and work output by enhancing blood flow.
Sodium bicarbonate- It acts as a buffering agent similar to beta-alanine meaning it increases high-volume training output. It is good to split the dose or consume it with meals because there is a risk of GI problems.
Taurine, Nitrous Oxide and Synephrine have mixed reviews and I do not look for these in a supplement. I only take taurine when I have muscle cramps.

I forgot to mention. You need around 500ml/day of straight juice for the performance enhancing effect which is 16oz. I get concentrate because it's cheaper and I can take it as a shot. You should take it 2-3 hours before exercise.

Fasted cardio burns more fat that fed cardio… Bro Science?
For years I thought fasted cardio would help me loose more fat than fed cardio. This assumption was validated by several studies. However, some new studies are debunking that notion.
Their findings are that fasted cardio has no benefit over fed cardio. It is best to do cardio when you can, whether it is on an empty stomach or a full stomach and a calorie restriction over an extended period of time is what creates fat loss.

be careful with that assumption. just because a new study says something different then studies in years past does not mean those older studies are are all wrong. i'd like to see a few more major studies before i'd be willing to jump over.

Bs.....many benefits with fasted cardio.

Just like bacon is good then bad then good, then carbs are good then bad then now fat is the enemy lol

See my point?
If it fucking works for you, fuck studies.

I train and do fasted cardio...go ahead and tell me it doesn't work, I'll wait(not)

Stop following and do what is right for you.

You can't seem to keep anything consistent, you've shown otherwise.

Regardless of your size, you have tons of fat and that isn't good for the heart....period.

Fat is fat, whether it be inside your stomach walls, on your ass, neck, face but not good for the heart.

I know I have too much fat. That's why I'm on a caloric deficit.

One of the studies I came across was a pretty expansive meta-analysis. The new research is pretty clear in this topic.

I'm constantly reading and researching. It entertains me.

Anyway, if reading studies and applying them to myself keeps me motivated, what's wrong with that? You all do not have to do what I do.

All I'm saying is that you tent to be all over the place, cycles, diets, etc.....IMO way too much confusion, it that's me.

You're taking it the wrong way, so I assume.

We all tend to read and experiment, but fucks sake bro. I feel like you've been talking about this for many years and your progress hasn't been much.

Just being real, don't get offended.

Obviously your life and could give 2 fucks right? Lol

Just voicing out my opinions bro, that's all.

My perspective I guess.

Too fat?

Fix the diet...you can be low caloric all you want. But if you're not getting the right nutrients on your low calorie diet, guess what? Shit won't work

False. If his body is burning 2000 cals a day and he eats 1500 cals a day of hot dogs and cream cakes he'll still lose weight. Might not be healthy but he would lose weight. His issue clearly is that he eats more then his body burns.

Here we go again with the calorie argument.

So eating 2k cals from KFC vs 2k cals from home cooked better meals is the same?

Ummm you yourself have argued this.

Not the argument. 2k clean cals is better then 2k dirty cals.

But if your body is burning 2k cals per day and you eat 1000 cals of ice cream and that's it you will lose weight.

Let's be fucking real shall we?

I love the guy, not being a prick.

But for ffs, he just needs to drop the FAT....then only then should he focus on whatever else he wants.

I get it, be big, thick, some fat etc...but avid has a massive frame and he OBVIOUSLY doesn't see his potential.

Just dropping 20lbs would make him LOOK BIGGER👀👀👀

Avid could be a really good logger here if he put his mind to it. He's probably the biggest guy on this board, period.

And fattest 😎😎😁😁

Love ya kid😎

Agree. Avid could be massive and athletic not just massive. But he knows. He got winded eating an ice cream cone.

250 would be a good healthy weight for you. I’m curious why you would want to weigh more?
