Some real geniuses in the UG Lab game.

Johnny Davis reportedly had $75,000 worth of anabolic steroids stored in his home on Warren Avenue in Red Bluff, California. His steroid dealing business must have been doing given the inventory he had on hand. And best of all, Davis was able to avoid the attention of law enforcement.

Unfortunately, Davis’ venture into the world of steroid trafficking did not remain a secret for long. And Davis was his own worst enemy with no one to blame but himself.

Deputies with the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) learned about Davis’ illicit steroid business after responding to a 911 report of gunshots in the early morning hours of March 25, 2019.

Apparently, Davis had gotten really drunk and starting firing his gun inside his Red Bluff home. This understandably alarmed his neighbors who promptly called the police.

When TCSO deputies arrived, Davis failed to comply with police commands leading to a brief standoff. Davis was eventually arrested without incident.

TCSO deputies proceeded to perform a protective sweep of Davis’ home in order to determine if anyone had been injured by Davis’ firearm.

Police discovered multiple expended shell casings, damage resulting from the discharge of a firearm, and unspecified evidence of illegal steroid sales in plain view. This evidence was used as the basis of a search warrant.

The Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement Task Force (TIDETF) agents responded to the scene in order to execute the search warrant. Agents discovered a large quantity of anabolic steroids. The estimated value of the stash was placed at $75,000.

Davis was immediately taken into custody and jailed at the Tahama County Jail. He was charged with suspicion of public intoxication, possession of anabolic steroids with the intent to sell or distribute, possession of high-capacity magazines and reckless discharge of a firearm.

Bodybuilders should be alarmed to learn that these are the type of people that are manufacturing and distributing some of the black market steroids they are using.
