stats - 5'5 1/2 -135lbs
i was down to 130lbs right before x-mas - alas x-mas cheat got the best of me

these pics i was around 138lbs
i am looking for more definition...used to be a varsity swim team swimmer so i can build quickly but i find it hard to build without gaining too much bulk. i do not want to compete -absolutely no time with my career....this is a personal goal

Some suggestions towards your diet would be
1) Increase carbs on workout days in meal 1-2 tapering it down. (OATMEAL!)
2) Add EFAs- Fish oil, Almonds, Olive Oil, Nat Peanut Butter preferably in the last 2 meals.
3) Go for cottage cheese instead of a shake in meal 6.

Pretty impressed with amount of protein you are getting in. How many calories is that on a daily basis?

thanks for the advice - that was just a typical sample - not always the same every day

im getting anywhere from 1500-1800 calories in a day....protein shake is low carb with 100 calories in a scoop.
you are definitely correct in that i should add a couple of more carbs - which i do in a lot of the veggies i eat i.e tomatoes - and i love oatmeal and will start adding that - cottage cheese is a fav of mine as well....

Oatmeal would be a great source for sustained energy and to replenish depleted glycogen stores. Just time it earlier in the day and consume with protein rich meals.

Just donít neglect your EFAs it is essential when cutting down whilst maintaining muscle mass.
