I have had these bookmarked for some time. I figured I'd share for those of you just starting out. There are good guides to your BMR and amount of calories burned during an activity.

Tool: Calorie calculator -

Mayo Clinic's calculator for your BMR. BMR stands for basal metebolic rate. It is the amount of calories you need to maintain your weight with your current activity level

Exercise for weight loss: Calories burned in 1 hour -

This is Mayo Clinic's guide to calorie burning. You cannot put your wright and height in. It gives various activities and calories burned for 160lb, 200lb, 240lb person.

The Most Accurate Calories Burned Calculator,

The above calculator allows you to put in your weight and to see approximate amount of calories your burn.

Calorie Calculator - calculate calories for over 500 activities

This is one of my favorite calculators as it allows your to add how many days you do the activity (hold ctrl on the keypad to select multiple days) and add all your activities to see how many calroies you are burning
