I may order in some pharma gh and run 10 iu ed post op to help heal the muscle etc they cut through I guess
I get it bro. I guess where I was going with the question goes back to the chadd injury thread. Remember how we were talking about how coming off everything might not always be the best option. Was just interested if you were still in that sort of mindset or if you were planning coming off completely?

I personally think 10iu of pharma GH is overkill. hell it could possibly cause some kind of unintended issue with nerve and swelling etc.. sort of like the way GH can effect carpel tunnel. 3-4 iu for a long period would have a better outcome in the long run IMO.

Well I'm actually in hospital now getting assessed for the op. Got up this morning and was in alot of pain only able to swing the left leg
It's one thing trying to heal.as natural as possible but when nerves start to get cut off its time for intervention.

Only problem is, because of our useless politicians many of the doctors are on strike so fuck knows how long I'll be here.

Cheers

Just strange because you were making real progress and saying how your pain free. Literally the day you said you were pain free was the day the foot thing started and now it's all worse than ever. Can't make out what the fck is going on. Lol.

This is no joke Turbo it's a very serious situation.

As it happens, while the junior doctors are in strike the more senior doctors have stepped into their place.

Who joked?

The result of letting government run health care. Mr. I constantly points out the "horrible" healthcare in the US and how good the government ran UK system is. I was nearly pointing that out. Government can't run a fucking a little league team.

I want nothing more than for Mr. I to get better. It is an awful situation. Seems like the government is trying to force the doctors to work more for less pay and the doctors are walking out.

For over a decade I've had a disk that has been pressing on my nerve canal, 6 months ago it did so even more then proceeded to herniate. It's now, after alot of work, been operated on and my nerves are freed up.

That right there is come back, from here its about healing and you can be sure ill be committed to rehab.

I'll make you a bet, 1 year from now we both post pics of physique. I'm willing to bet that while I've had an injury, the surgery will have released nerve tissue that will eventually leas to better muscle contraction than ever before.

I don't know bro this all seems a bit strange. Do you really have a nerve canal? Are you really ill be comitted? Hell are you really Mr I? Who knows. I don't trust the government.

I think rehab is going to tell you to lose weight. I would be more concerned with self preservation than being big. Your body and your life, but I'm not quite sure a bodybuilding lifestyle and mindset and herniated disks/spinal stenosis are a great mix. You can still look great without being a mass monster.

Well They took me off morphine this morning but could be. I hardly ate yesterday in anticipation of the operation so maybe my body is adjusting.

Also my heart rate is constantly at 100. This is totally weird for me since in normally 60-70 bpm
I don't have a temperature

Anyway I guess there's a few little changes occurring but I'm happy so far just very tired.

Lay in my own bed at home in no pain for as long as I can remember. It's amazing how you build up a tolerance and adjust but this is pure bliss.

I think the executive summary of this long rambling blog thread is that if you get a herniated or prolapsed disk, by all means try conservative treatment but please don't be put off by surgery because at this point I would say it's changed my quality of life completely. I am in no pain and need very few drugs now so I'm very happy and if in some way this helps othets then all the better.

That's a difficult one. Normally they say six weeks for a herniation type deal to heal. Where mine was surgically sliced and picked I'd say the same but don't forget they would have blobbed some prednisone (steroid) on the site to give immediate anti inflamatory too. I think it's 3 to six months for a full heal.

In the mean time it's walking, some swimming and in a week or so some isolated gym work very light maybe.

Three months before proper gym stuff and even then no bent rows, deads, squats, stood curls. All supper controlled and not even forced reps.

You have to remember though I've been lifting since 12 years old and im 39 now. So having time away doesn't affect the long term. This is me now, no pronounced bulging muscle but no tub of lard either and still a reasonable strong build at about 235lb
