So after 4 months recovery from spraining the hell outta both shoulders it's time to return. My mind and body needed a bit of a break so all in all it was a good thing in the long run I think. Won't lie though, staying away from something I love so much has definitely not been easy. Fucks you up a bit mentally.

I'll be starting out real slow with low weight and just kind of going through the range of motions. My shoulders have healed but in doing so have become a bit stiff in that process so I gotta start out slow and loosen them up.

Gonna have to leave my ego at the door for awhile that's for sure. 20lb db shoulder presses isn't exactly going to be impressing anyone haha.

I figure I'll be back to normal by new years. That's the goal. Start out slow, get the range of motion back, then increase the weight as it feels more and more comfortable.

I'll certainly have 1 advantage. After 4 months away I'm excited and inspired as fuck to get back in the gym and feel good again.

I stayed on test and deca and added in GH after the injury to help with healing. Because of that I'm roughly the same weight.

With that said, I'm definitely holding the weight a little differently. Muscles obviously lost the full pumped look compared to training 5 days per week. And because I increased my cals (on purpose again to help with healing) I put on a bit of fat. In a shirt you can't tell much difference. Shirt off I can definitely see the difference. Nothing I can't get back quick though.

I'm sure I would lost a shit ton more had I came off test/deca and not added gh. I don't regret that at all. I would have been a serious mental case with not only being injured but also having the hormone level of an old woman, fuck that.

If I were you I would take a pic the first day you go back and then compare it to your goal which is New Years. Not that you need anymore motivation but it'll definitely get that ego back lol

I think they watch each other but dont try to impress each other. Women do seem to be more focused on their workout more then alot of guys I see. I see guys trying to look macho when really nobody cares. We need to do whats best for our bodies and if thats using 10lb dumbells thats ok.....lol But I know that feeling. I just stay in the hoodie for a few weeks.

I'm still curious to see if it's going to be a mindfuck while in the gym, pushing yourself and feeling a bit light headed and dizzy. Will you stop and get anxious or will you keep pushing? Let us know how that aspect of it goes, mentally.

I don't think that's going to be much of a problem. Think that had more to do with the orals I was running looking back. It was 3 weeks into the cycle that I had added in dbol. Had gained just over 12lbs of mostly water weight. That combined with the amount I was sweating in and out of the gym made for a bad combo of dehydration. It was mid June and everyday was well over 100. I simply avoid that mistake and job done. But if by chance I do get dizzy I now know to sit the fuck down instead of keep standing like a dumbass. I was dizzy a good minute or so before I passed out, all I had to do was sit or lay down and I would have been injury free. Fucken stupid when I think about it.

Good for you man. You'll be fine. You'll have no problem making adjustments if needed.

Post up a sloppy pic. I posted being out of the gym for 3 months and off everything. Your off cycle is probably double my on cycle. lol

You could take a pic now and then when you feel you're at your best, post both pictures to show us exactly how much progress you've made. Or simply don't post any pictures lolz

Just finished my first day back.

Felt good but damn am I tight. For example doing something like db incline presses. I have a hard time getting my arms far enough back to compete the press how I would normally do it. Gonna take some time to get that normal range of motion back .

Good news is nothing actually hurt. But man the body sure does stiffen up as it heals. Getting that normal range back is gonna require some painful stretching that's for sure.

All in all it felt great to be back, god damn did I miss it.

Be careful with the tightness. That's a recipe for tearing something like a pec. Keep doing those foundation stretches and stick-ups for shoulder mobility.

I think I might bro. Maybe like 5 weeks over the holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years seems like a perfect time.

The more I think about what levrone did and seeing now how much better off he is from those breaks compared to other pros his age seems like it is probably a smart idea to take a little extended break each year. Obviously not going to take the holiday break this year as I'm just coming back. Lol

Make sure you incorporate stretches on there man. Keep everything loose so you don't tear or severely injure yourself

Did legs today. I can already tell it's gonna be one of those fall onto the toilet days tomorrow. Gonna be sore as hell.

Not really sore from the workout yesterday because the weight used wasn't really sufficient to strain the muscle tissue, just about getting the range back.

Forgot to mention this. Kinda interesting.

So I trained legs as I said but I wasn't sore at all the next day. I know you guys are saying "trained with sissy weights" but I didn't, not with lower body.

You guys think its cause I stayed on AAS and GH? I was fully expecting to be sore as fuck after 4 months of not training at all but I wasn't sore even a tiny bit despite a solid hour leg workout.

I know without doubt I would have been sore as fuck after 4 months natty. Wondering if AAS and GH preserve the muscle so well that it had the effect of no soreness even after such a long period?

Did you do a full length work out on the legs like you used to? that's odd for sure... maybe it'll hit ya tomorrow...be all walking like you just did a 20 KM ruck march with 80 lbs...LOLO

Second day of upper body since I returned. Easing into it. 1 day of upper body and 1 day of lower body per week for the first month back.

Was able to go heavier with almost every exercise today by 10-15lbs. As long as there is progress I'm happy.

are you sweating tons bro? i remember you would post how much sweat you'd do. i wonder if it's worse since you've taken so much time off and now all of the BS inside you, is coming through the pores/sweat.

since coming back on, my sweat has gone up even more and now sure how the fuck my body does it. i sweat tons as it is.

I use to train that way as well, hoodie and sweats...not anymore though. I obviously sweat the most on my runs, but lifting is no joke either on the sweats.

Do you ever go after your done into the sauna/steam room? Just to relax and do some stretching? I do it every time I'm done training, yes even more sweat.

Our bodies sweating is practically cooling us off.
