Obviously this is a precarious issue on the best way to develop them.. Any help on workouts to optimise my ab muscles would be great, espc lower abs

diet and cardio. everyone has abs. they are just hidden under layers of fat. pull off the fat and your abs will be exposed. once you've done that you can do any basic ab movements. pulling the fat off in the main key. no amount of ab training will do a thing for the look of your stomach if your abs are covered in fat.

it's a 50/50 toss up..or double edge sword per say. If you have very good genetics and a pure ectomorph then you can have and with a shitty diet.... I got a friend who can eat whatever he wants and he is ripped...if I eat like that for the most part I can get fat... I do some cardio and abs training and have abs...maybe I won't be as shredded but still have abs... so it depends on a person genetics too.. yes diet is very important to get very lean, but with good drugs I think it's mute that abs are made in the kitchen

This is so true. When I see over weight guys in the gym doing sit ups & knee raises but no cardio at all I think back to a post you commented on a while back discussing abs.

Genetics is genetics. Some people have better than others. That doesn't change the argument. The fact is, if your stomach is soft you need to diet harder. Training abs doesn't change the fact that body fat is still covering up the muscle your training. Until you remove that body fat you won't see those abs.

For sure... could I look much leaner and ripped? For sure, but I'm trying to bulk up and been getting semi dirty I.E ice creams in the evening and shit and not doing cardio... eating lil over 3000 and can't get fat for the life of me... I'm sure it's the GH and I look much much fuller....

yea i used to be a daily selfy type fella. problem with that is people see you everyday and nobody is impressed after awhile. bori if mr olympia was based on midsections i'd be a pro.

but i got tired of people telling me id be a great "physique guy" and shit like that. so i decided to take some time and put on size slowly without the expense of ruining my midesection. when i post pics again people wont be saying "you have a model body" and shit that would piss me off like before. people will be saying "dude you need to get on stage now".

i'm 20lbs heavier than I was back when i was posting pics daily and my bodyfat is below 10% again for the first time in 2 years. you'll get your wish soon enough bori, pics are coming and my goal is to make you say "fuck i need to up the dose".

You can't stay as lean as I was and gain real size. I was down to the body fat level where it was making me weak in the gym. Bf calipers didn't register bf% on me anymore. They aren't accurate anyway but when your that low they don't work at all. I was pretty much contest ready year round.

But no,. Never got chubby. Always had my abs. Just not shredded.
