does nolva cause u to drop water that u are storing during a cycle ?

hi, i 5'9, finished my second cycle. was 10 weeks

750 mg test cyp,
100mg drol/ed - 5 weeks
400 mg eq

gained 45 lbs

i just started dieting i am 4 weeks in using prop, t3 , clen, ECA.
4 weeks left

wks 1 - 8 100mg prop/ed
wks 1 - 5: 125 mcg t3
wks 6 -8: taper down to 2 5mcg t3
wks 1 - 8: nolva 20mg/ed
clen ECA on/off

i started at 226 i am now 200 lbs, before i started bulking i was pretty lean, 10% bf, at 185 lbs. even at 200 lbs i still look bloated.
even though i am running nolvaat 20mg/ed since i started dieting 4 weeks ago. i was gonna try a mild dieuretic like aldactone.

is this a good idea because i thought the nolva would help me drop water ?

nope it only competes for the estrogen receptor but the water weight from estrogen will still exist because it is still running through your body.

because the estrogen gets broken down by the body eventually.

You're going to hear different opinions on this subject. Some will say yes, some will no. Since, the market has been hit with all the new anti-aromatase(ie. Arimidex, Femara & Aromasin). Most people forget that guys used to use Nolvadex & Proviron to get rid of water when dieting for a competition with EXCELLENT results!!! You ever wonder why guys say Nolvadex hinder gains on a cycle? It doesn't stop actual muscle growth, it kills WATER RETENTION!!! Think about it....

well proviron is an anti-aromatase so it WILL prevent water retention by reducing the amount of estrogen aromatized from test. Novaldex does NOTHING to reduce the amount of estrogen in the body. it only competes for the receptors which will do nothing to reduce the actual estrogen count in your system.

Gundam, all I can say is try it out for yourself. Go a week or two without taking anything, then use Nolvadex@20mgs ED for a week or two. Then, you be the judge. I guarantee you will hold less water. Alot of the info on the boards nowadays is ideas, not facts, that's been parroted back & forth. So, try it for yourself...

are you ignoring me on purpose?LOL :D I thought my "idea" was straight foward. test=amromitization of test=estrogen production=water retention. if you cut out the estrogen production then you cut water.

Nolva will definately cause you to drop some water. I find I piss more, lean out, and get dry skin when I take Nolva at 20mg/day.

hes right i took 50 mg aldactone for 1 day and dropped practically all my water. SC was right !

How is he right? He never said anything about aldactone... I've seen it TOO many times with friends using Nolvadex@20mgs ED, some getting ready for a show. They DEFINITELY lost water. Is it better than Arimidex or Femara? No, but it does work.
