  • I donated blood

Just yesterday I donated a unit of blood because they came to my school. I am on my 7th week of 400mg EQ and 500mg Test Enan a week cycle. After school I thought I was gona be a tough guy and go work out, I did'nt get past my warm up and 4 sets of leg extensions before I started to feel all tingly and light headed. So I finally got the smarts to quit and go home. I laid down on the couch and felt like someone put kryptonite around my neck. I have been trying to take in plenty of calories but I still feel like my life has been sucked out of me today. My question is have any of you given blood while on a cycle, and how long does it take to regain RBC when on cycle. Will I not be able to work out for a week? I figured I had an abundance of RBCs so it would'nt matter, guess I was wrong.

You shouldn't have given blood, man. Having those AAS in there would really suck if a woman ends up getting transfused with it.

I was looking through the FG forum and another guy was donating blood because his RBCs got too high, he said if a woman was to get the blood that there would hardly be enough to cause any drastic changes and would probably just make her horny.

And what if a pregnant woman gets the blood and she's carrying a little girl? That much male hormone could mess a female baby up a bit, I'm thinking.

BTW, I'm not trying to flame you or anything...I just hope to discourage anyone who's on cycle to get rid of extra RBCs this way. Having more RBCs won't hurt you...it'll just help you revover more quickly in between sets as you'll have more cells to transport oxygen to muscles.

Consider how much blood you donated, how much blood is in your body (how diluted the test. is) and how much it'd take to cause any real difference... Though it is a little asanine to have done that without thinking it out pretty well first.

They will test his blood to make sure that everything is in normal ranges, test lipids stuff like that, if it passes it gets donated to someone, if it doesnt pass it gets used for research purposes :)

so dont worry who gets it they screen stuff like that

well I should have specified that this rule only applies to here in the united states, I'm not sure bout europe or elsewere, I had sugery a while back where i needed blood and my dr was kind enuf to give me this huge packet on screening procedure and standards.

that's why i never gave blood in high school, it might've come out green:druggie:
unfortunately, as with most drug screenings i doubt they would look for aas. keep that in mind next time.

the ammount of test in one unit of blood will not hurt a woman at all.

good jod giving blood though brother - you may have saved a life. more people should give...i give blood every 3 months like clock work. it can make such a huge difference...every little bit helps.

next time though - skip the workout for a couple days.

Tiabin, goliath, and slowpain are all correct. I asked the red cross (it was obvous that the guy juced). HRT doen't matter here. Your only concern is what happen to me recently. they test for iron in your blood be fore you give it and mine sank like a rock and they will test for RBC. That is from being on the EQ I believe.

The above notwithstanding, it's still VERY unsafe to donate blood while cycling because people who get your blood may already be immunosupressed. This means that whatever you have in your blood could cause adverse reaction in them that would not normally occur in healthier people. If they have an illness that already has them on some sort of steroids, you'll fuck up their dosing, etc. If you're taking several meds, you just can't predict what will happen because it depends on what they've got. Of course, if it's a car accident and they only need a pint, chances are that nothing will happen to them. But, if they have something chronic, it could be terrible. Avoid giving blood.
