  • HELP! First time injecting

A couple of days ago I did my first injection in my left qaud. It was about 6 inches straight up from the knee. Now I have severe pain in the knee. It feels like in bumped it on something hard. does this sound like I have an infedtion that traveled doen to the knee? Please advise. Thanks in advance for any help.:(

Probably NOT an infection, more than likely just some inflamed nerves. First of all, you NEVER inject straight up from the knee, you inject in the outer part of the quad. Go to spotinjections.com and take a look. BB

My first quad shot I hit way too low and it cause inflamation in my knee. Hurt like a son of a bitch for a couple days. I don't think you should be too worried about it yet see how it goes and take some motrin.
