  • Help with cutting my gear

    Hey Bros

I am using some UG gear that is concentrated at 400mg\ml. I want to cut it down because the pain is just too much.

I noticed that there are different kind of oils available. Which is lease likley to cause a reaction ?

Do I need to add BA and BB to the oil or is it good to go ?

Actually, I already cut it with b12, but since the B12 is water based, it floats arround the syringe like a lava lamp and never really mixes with the oil.

theres no guarantee cutting it will reduce pain, it might be due to another factor

what oil is in there alreay? you shouldnt ahve dramas mixing different oils, they are miscible, unless there are some otehr compounds in there (bacteriostats etc) that may react/precipitate)

          use the same oil ideally

hey stromba, the pain is most likely due to too much BA in the mix. UG labs tend to add a little extra BA to prevent any kind of bacterial growth. Take a large gauge needle and put it in the vial to vent pressue and bake it for 15 minutes at 225. Let it cool, then bake it once more at 225 for 15 minutes again. This will cook off a little of the BA and make for much less painful injections.

            good luck

I personally dissagree, I have tried this method numerous times with various chinese blends and it has never done a damn thing to dull the pain, all it did was waste my time. I am not saying it doesnt work for you bro as I am super sensetive to high BA gear. I agree with anyone above that says to cut it with oil, the b12 never did squat for me either. I used olive oil that I baked prior to mixing with my gear and I only baked it to sterilize it, never had a problem and dramatically cut down on the pain factor.

                cutting gear

If you are useing another oil based product you can mix it that in the same pin. Worked for me.

Alot of high concentration gear hurts, not from too much BA, but not enough solvent, usually BB. There may be enough to keep the test from falling out, but once injected it doesnt stay in solution long enough and crashes. That is where the pain comes from. Last homebrew, I had to add more BB, and it took care of the pain. This may or may not be the cause of your pain.
