  • Results of a Powerlifter's first cycle

Well, I got back from my first "untested" powerlifting meet a few hours ago and thought I'd share the kind of progress I made on my first cycle.

First, a little background info...........I'm 24 years old and have been a competitive powerlifter (drug-free) for 10 years. Well, I truly believe I had just about tapped out my genetic potential because I had been in a plateau for nearly 3 years. Anyway, I did 500 enan for 12 weeks and 300 deca for 11. Here's the progress I made:

    Clean personal bests (in competition)
    bodyweight--220
    squat--680
    bench--440
    deadlift--600
    total--1705

Today's lifts (debut as an "enhanced" lifter)
    bodyweight--242
    squat--725
    bench--500
    deadlift--600
    total--1825

My bench made incredible gains this cycle, while the excess girth took its toll on my deadlift (even though I was stronger, I had difficulty getting into position). I added 60 pounds to my bench and was probably good for another 25! I blasted up that 500!

Up next is a meet in mid August.........I plan to run 750 test and throw in dbol for the last 4 weeks. I see big numbers on the horizon!!

congratulations bro, glad to see those lifts going up. my one question is, is it worse because you are heavier and are put in a different weight class or are you not worried about that?

Well, I improved overall, even though I gained 20 pounds of body weight.

In powerlifting, a formula (Wilks Formula) is used to compare lifts in different weight class. By applying this formula, I would need a 1765 in my new weight class to outdo my 1705 in the lower weight class.

              Although I didn't make miracle-gains, I did exceed 1765 by 60 pounds.............so, even though I'm heavier, I'm still a better lifter overall.

Also, I should point out that it wasn't just the sauce that caused me to gain all the weight. I put on most of the weight before my first injection (obscene amounts of 2% milk)...........I only gained 10 pounds during the cycle.

Even so, after busting my ass in the gym for over 2 years and not gaining a drop of strength, words can't describe just how enjoyable it was to add 120 pounds to my total in a few short months!!!

One word bro, tren. DBol may not be best leading inot a comp, it leaves some people in alot of lower back pain, and unable to do a pain free deadlift and squat.
