  • Question about First "STICK"

    Hey guys I have a question. I am just starting my first cycle of Test Cyp at 400mg/week. I injected into my Quad Monday before I went to the gym. I really couldn't even feel the needle going in. It was so smooth. About 7 hours later my muscles started cramping in my leg. Now my leg is having mild spasms. Is this normal?

    I forgot to mention that I used a 1.5 inch 22 gauge needle.

      1.5 is kinda deep to go into the quad...next time go 1 inch or 5/8 inch. A lot of people have their muscle knot up on them the next day....apply heat and give it a good stretch. Riding the stationary bike for a few minutes to get the muscle nice and warm would be a good idea too.

        That should be expected for a first time. You have injected a foreign substance and there is going to be some discomfort. It will get better as you do more injections. Did you massage the area after the injection?
        I agree go with a 1'' and preferably 25ga.

          if your putting anything in you for the first time, dont put it in your quads...allways hit the glutes...then see if its painless or not...if its fine, then jab other spots...otherwise cut it before you hit other spots...

          you wont think much of this till you try out your first painful gear, decide to hit your quads, and cant walk the next 3 days from pain...

            Quads are tough for a first time.

            Like Power Rabbit said, do glutes if you can.

            I would choose delts next and quads after that.

              I love hitting my quads. The only thing is exactly what every one else is saying. You MUST massage it after. Another thing is I heat the amp under HOT water for a while to get the oil warm. That injects much smoother and less painful for me. Helps draw it easier as well.

              Just apply heat Bro and massage it.

              The bike is GREAT advice! I do cardio almost every night - 5 days a week - for 20 minutes after working out, so cramps are less with me anyway.
